St. Paul's Plus Preschool and Kinder

Spotty and sometimes down right Incompetent supervision, especially in the afternoon when they use students from the upper school rather than licensed teachers. Dull outdated lessons, blah works sheets, art projects are usually something like sticking foam stickers on a piece of construction paper. Children almost never get dirty and are often expected to sit for overly long periods of time. An all around lack of creativity and imagination. You won't find preschool standards like finger paint, easel painting, making sculptures and collages or painting murals. Even the use of play dough is scarce. Adult directed rather than child centered. Very few of the teachers are warm or well educated. some speak to their students in a disrespectful manner. I once heard one of the rudest say to 4 year old student : "Zip it up!" Really a great disappointment. The staff and student body are not at all diverse, nor are they particularly well trained in their fields.

This is an amazing school! The director, teachers, and other staff are extremely attentive and knowledgeable. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the children by helping them develop socially and progress academically. The program offers a variety of activities for the children including soccer, dance, and gym. The children also have French and Spanish. and parents are granted an opportunity to be involved in the activities. My child loves this school and looks forward to going to school every day! The summer program is also excellent!

My daughter attended St Paul Plus and was well prepared for Kindergarten I have my son there now and he loves it there. The staff is aweseome and very attentive to the children.
