This an excellent school. Teachers are very professional, caring and fun. There is extremely low teacher turnover -- very impressive. My son absolutely loves this school and he has learned so much, all of our friends are impressed with the things he says about artists, birds, animals, plants etc. The school is on the expensive side, but it's worth every penny.

My son attended Wee Lads for pre-K and Kindergarten and I can not say enough positive things about the educational program and the wonderful, caring and supportive staff. My daughter is now following her brothers foot steps. I have never seen a huge problem with the outside play area. It was actually a bonus for us because there is plenty of area to run around. They staff encourages the children to play independently but I never felt they were unsupervised. I myself had a very 'spirited' child who had plenty of positive feedback from the recess monitors.

My concern for all children attending this school is that the play area is extremely dangerous. There are a lot of hills with exposed tree roots, the equipment is outdated, there is not at least 12 inches of loose fill, chips or mulch around equipment, the equipment does not have a safe 6 foot fall zone, there is glass that continually comes out of the ground and with the area of the playground the supervision is not adequate. After my son fell on an exposed 'u' shaped root that has been known to be a problem, he cut open just above his eye. After requesting accurate information be reported I was told that not one teacher saw the accident and my sons word would not be taken as to what happened. Currently there are no changes being made to fix these safety concerns.

Wee Lad and Lassie is a great school. My son loves it there and thinks learning is so much. This school has given my son the tools that he needs to go on to the next grade at a private school. The staff is great ! The teachers are so caring and understanding to each of the childrens needs. I can not forget to say how affordable the school is . The parent involvement is amazing all of the activities are fun educational . I wish I knew of the school sooner.
