I am writing as a mother who had Donna as a childcare provider for my son, and a mentor to me as what kind of mother/person I wanted to become. She is nothing short of amazing. Not only does she do daycare/farming, Donna also works in animal rescue, and teaches "her" kids about the importance of nature, compassion, and the interconnectedness of us all. My son was with her for six years, while I took classes/worked in Farmington, and one of the saddest parts of moving away was saying goodbye to Donna. Been thinking about going back with my "little boy" (who is now nineteen!) so she can see what a wonderful man he has become, in no small part to her influence on his early upbringing.
