Truman Elementary School

my son couldnt wait to get to school!!! he loved his teacher and learned so much!!!

I believe this school as helped both my sons with both there learning as well as confidence. They have both learned how to spell their names (which are long ones at that) and very quickly...letter recognition. concepts of reading, social skills, manners. My oldest is now 7 and attending Alice Boucher which is well be going to another school next year b/c the teaching there isn't up to par(ask anyone). My 5 year old is currently at Truman and loves it he comes home from school exicted and full of the days activities to share much like my first child was while there. I love Truman..thanks so much to the whole school..teachers Mrs Houston and Mrs B..and also Mrs Toussaint and Mrs Tammy..u guys are what true teachers should be

I believe Truman Montessori is a wonderful program for the 3 and 4 yr olds. They are taught discipline and manners and the teaching is an A+. I am very happy I found this school and I know my daughter will be ready for Kindergarten. I want to give a huge thanks to Mrs. Terri and Ms. Colomb. You both are faboulous and we Love you!!

This school is a pre-K four program. It is the best program the state has to offer. My son learned so much! He will be very prepared for K. Learning little things like going to the library and lunchroom rules while give him a headstart and the confidence he needs. I tell every parent who has a child that is 3 or 4 to look into this school, it's wonderful. I can't say enough about the teachers and staff. The only thing I wish they would improve on is: a handbook. In elementry schools there is a plan for the year. To know at the begining of school year when events takes place, helps working parents plan for days off. Thank you for a wonderful year! Love you Ms. Dana & Ms. Shiela
