Seven Oaks Academy

It enrages me to know that this school continues to employ a teacher that I witnessed shove a 3 yr old to the ground. That I witnessed speaking to a 3 yr old in a very harsh and abrasive manner to the point that a child needs counseling and no longer wants to attend school. This school ruined my childs view of school. I have talked to other parents who have also witnessed similiar experiences from this teacher and had bad experience with this school. Anyone who thinks this is a caring and loving place should be warned. There are some teachers there that are wonderful but when your kids come into contact with the one that is not hopefully they are not ruined. I guess it is very unfortunate that my child is extremely intelligent and knew this woman for who she was by just looking at her. You want to believe an adult over a child but kids usually have better judgement of people. If the director thinks her teachers are so wonderful she needs to invest in a camera system so parents can see their kids being shoved to the ground. If this woman did this with a parent in the class what is she doing when there is no one around?? Beware of this school!

We were thrilled to find this care center for our 18 month old son. The teachers are intelligent, kind and careful with my child, and they promptly communicate any concerns or injuries that arise. Special events are also clearly communicated and administration of the school seems orderly. The classrooms are spacious, orderly, and cleaned daily. Toys are also regularly cleaned. Diapers are checked hourly. There is a large indoor gym area with high ceilings and plenty of play equipment, which is ideal for little ones on hot days. My toddler is taken to play in the wading pools two mornings every week in the summer, which he loves. The children generally seem calm and content whenever I visit the classroom. I am very comfortable leaving my son at this center.

Seven Oaks is a wonderful daycare/school! The teachers and staff are caring, loving and wonderful examples for young minds. Most of the teachers have been working there since my 16 year old nephew went there. My 9 year old attended Seven Oaks through Kindergarten and was given a great head start for school. My youngest child attends Pre-K there now and I would not change a thing! My child loves going to school each day. Every child at Seven Oaks is cherished and treated with respect. I have witnessed first hand how gentle and caring they are to children who may have a hard time adjusting when their parents drop them off as well as to children who are just having a rough morning. I would highly recommend Seven Oaks to anyone who wishes to know that their children are in good, capable, and loving hands when they have to leave them for work. I will be sad when my last child leaves Seven Oaks this year! I consider the staff and faculty part of my extended family and will miss seeing them.

Excellent preparation for Kindergarten. Organized, caring, loving staff. Administration is wonderful. Super clean, very conscientious. When I asked my son what he would change about Seven Oaks, he said, " I don't want to change anything about Seven Oaks, I like it the way it is."

It angers me to read such a comment as below. I disagree. It is a very kind and gental environment. I sent 2 children to the school and both are in advanced studies at their current schools. My children are 5 yrs apart and both experinced the same teachers who were kind and loving to each and every child.

I am now fifteen years old but I still recall the joyous memories that I attained at this school. I used to attend Seven Oaks Academy between the ages of 3-10. I went through Pre-K and kindergarten here, including the summer time program Even after I went into grade school, I went here for an after school program. Even when my parents and I moved to Destrehan, Louisiana, a ten minute drive from the school, I still went to their summer time program until I reached the age of ten, (financial troubles) Ever since that time I miss all the fun and friends that I made over the years. Parents who read this review I guarentee you this: if this school was the same as it was when I left it, you are sending your child to a great school with a wonderful staff devoted to giving them a head start.

I like this preschool and so does my son who is now 3 yrs old.I love the staff and the teachers are nice too. The staff is always ready to work with you and make you feel comfortable.In kenner,I think this is the best preschool in my opinion.

I wish we can add more stars, 5 are not enough for the quality of director, teachers and staff, they really know how to teach,educate,love and prepare your child for the school years to come. my child left this the Academy 5 years ago and has never forgot this place, every now and then we go back to say hello. They are QUALITY 'A' people. THE BEST! We love you seven Oaks.
