I think that Woodland Park is a wonderful school. Sure they have their problems, but doesn't all the schools. The teachers seem to work well together and truly care about the children. My child has been there for PreK and now Kindergarten. Mrs. Davis is always willing to listen to my concerns and she shows that she values my opinion.

I think that the new administration has been working very hard to overcome some of the negative publicity associated with this school. The overall school climate is much better than in the past. The school faculty, staff, and administration are very welcoming to parents and other people that come to the school. Mrs. Davis is always ready to welcome parents to come and work with students and help out in the rooms.

This school has a lot of caring teachers. I like the principal and assistant principle. They are all about the safety of the children. Little does the school know an outsider can sense the gossip among the employees. This is disturbing to some parents because they should all learn how to get along, if they are going to teach the children to get along. I also think more focus was on raisining money for the school but yet they could not do a cap and gown graduation. The kindergarten graduation lasted about 20 minutes. This was a poor excuse for a graduation. This children will not get that sense of acompolishment again until 8th grade. The least this school can do is think about the children.

Wpelc is the worst school for a white child to attend in this district. The principal has very little to do with the 'minority' children and is at times mean to these children. If they aren't black why should I care ... This should be her motto. The school has three wonderful teachers, but three can only do so much. The other teacher's are only there to collect a check. They are not there to improve a childs life. Parents of the 'minority', if you care about your child you will not send him/her to this school.

This school is one of the poorest schools I have ever seen. The students are unfairly treated and on top of it all the principal is unfair to childeren not of her own ethnic background. On a scale of 1 to 10 I rate this school a big fat 0
