My children go to ABC I agree the director goes above and beyond for parents ,staff. and children. She spends 90percent of the day to make that place a great place for our children to learn. 2 of my children got in the magnet program when they graduated from ABC as did 10 others that year I think that says alot for the school. As for as teacher turnover every daycare or any job has it. I think those who can teach other peoples children are great put yourself in there place and watch 13 3 yearols or 5 infants, its not for everybody thats why daycares has a higher turnover than a desk job people, and parents like you that pulled your kids after 2 weeks looks like you got put out after not paying for 2 weeks. This is the only daycare I know that has cameras everywhere and intercoms in everyroom as well as a biometric door. The curriculum is great, and the kids are smart so i would recommend this daycare to everybody. As for as you peaple and your beleif what in the world are you talking about?

I think this is a great school they have a ton of kids and the director meets and greets everyone of them by name there is not gonna be a minute she is not there overseeing the daily operations and cleaning and sanitizing everyday. They have huge classrooms and a great program. My kids have learned so much my 20month old is potty trained and can count to 80. I love all the safety features they have there, my kids love all the playgrounds there. My children has both been there since they were babies and the teachers were all great sounds like a few parents must have hit a non pay list and of course any daycare requires a 2 week notice people and if somebody does answer the phone that means they work there so tell them you problems or wait until u get there da. THE SCHOOL IS AWSOME!!!!!!! these other people may should have paid their bill and they would have still been there to see.

My kids were here for 2 weeks and we pulled them out because of unsatisfactory teacher performance and a lack of communication between the staff. There seems to be an inherent inability to listen to our instructions on how we want to raise our children and respect our wishes. Also after we pulled them out, we got a bill for over $700 due to our lack of two weeks notice and an extra week of tuition. Very dissatisfied. Do yourself a favor and find a different preschool.

I admit, I liked the atmosphere of the school. They put on a good show. The curriculum they use would be great if they didn't fly through it, but reinforce and build on it instead. For some reason they can't keep teachers there long enough to complete a school year so the children lose time while the 'teacher' is playing catch up. Another thing is, you can never reach anyone during the day by phone. If by chance someone does answer the phone, they can never find the person you need to speak with.

All though it is frustrating at times to call and get an answering machine sometimes, you have to realize that the director is one person with alot of responsibilty. There is never a time she is not there. She is always busy cleaning are helping teachers. I think this is a great plase to work and most of us teachers have been here along time. Any daycare will have turnover due to several reasons. Whether it be graduating from college or moving out of state with your family. She is a great person with a big heart. She will go above and beyond a director. And she is never to good to have a broom or a mop in her hand, what other directors would do that. She also hands her person cellphone out to any parent no questions asked. All teachers have emails, or they are available allday in person.

I teach the eldest of the pre-k four-year-old classes and can testify that I use both Spanish and sign language in the classroom. I also have a computer that I use for instructional time with students. State requires limited use of this medium for education as they wish for our focus to be on creativity and social growth. We use an A Beka curriculum in conjunction with Creative Curriculum to accomplish a multitude of developmental goals. We focus on the strengths of the child but maintains lessons to prepare them for school. Childern will learn phonics, addition, computer skills, social studies, science and language development. Bible studies, literary works, poetry and character development are just a few of the tools used to teach children of the world around them and how they are expected to behave and act in that world.
