My daughter has been at WHDS for 2 years and she is getting ready to start her 3rd year. I have another baby girl who will go there when she turns 2. This school is so wonderful and the teachers absolutely love their students. Given a choice to send my daughter to day care or this school, WHDS wins- hands down. The biggest motivation for us to decide where to send her was the overall experience, including the safety of the campus. Having her teachers love and dote on her happened to be a bonus. The teachers love their students and you really want that, especially when the children are so young.
Walnut Hill Day School is a top notch facility. The location is ideal with a beautiful playground surrounded by horse farms. The instruction is equally impressive with Spanish, music, gym class offered in addition to the core subjects. The children are generally well ahead of their peers as far as math and reading are concerned. I have had one to two children there for four years.
