My children were moved here from daycares in Lexington and were only enrolled for 3 months. It was a night mare and a mess. Disorganized and no structure. Lots of turn over, etc. My 2.5 year old was begging not to go daily. My 2 month old wouldn't nap for more than 20-30 minutes at a time. My daughter had a lot of structure and organization at her previous center and went from doing art projects to basically running around playing non-stop with no art projects or curriculum at all. Children need play, but they also crave structure. Stepping Stones unfortunately did not have what we were looking for.
My child has been going there for 3 yrs now and I have no concerns. They are very loving and are education driven, they have many field trips in the summer, they do developmental checklist each month, I always get art work and they are great to my child. The most important thing is my child loves it there and cant wait to go. I give it 5 stars great job guys!!!!
Stepping stones used to be a great daycare, when Mrs. Angie and Mrs. Beverley were still there. Mrs. Beverley's there now but don't seem to have time to do much outside the office. The newer teachers and managers don't seem to know what their doing, especially in the baby building. That new blond manager in the baby building is just rude. This place was awesome up until last year, now it's not. What happened to ya'll? I'm just glad the CDL had an opening for my daughter, because the new people don't seem to have any idea what their doing.
