The teachers and administration of this school are great! They have great curriculm and activities for the children and always keep me informed. Three of my neices and nephews have attended and so are both my children. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.
I have nothing but good things to say about Aldersgate Preschool Plus. My oldest child went to two other preschools previously and we were very unhappy with both programs. We finally came here and have never looked back. Some of the best features include: *Curbside drop-off and pick-up for 3-5 year olds. *Seperate classes and curriculums for older and younger 4-year-olds. This prevents kids who are taking a growth year from repeating the same class. *Parents are encouraged to come to class and interact with the kids. *Super dedicated teachers. I get the feeling they really like their jobs and the turnover appears to be low. *Supportive parents, which means the school gets what it needs. (The bake sales are unreal.) *A child-centered philosophy. There are no holiday parties at Aldersgate. The staff feels that these are distractions from learning, especially given that many students only spend a few hours a week at school. *The tuition is within the average range for this area. ***One caveat: There is no extended day option at this school. I suspect many of the students have a parent who is home during the day. In short, I dread the day my child leaves Aldersgate for Kindergarten!
