My daughter has been going to CV @ Hayes for a short time. The teachers and staff though have embraced her and have gone above and beyond to help her adapt. My child has several special needs and it is such a blessing for a school to see her as a valuable part of their identity and not a burden.
The initial Children’s Village opened in 1998 and was one of the first early childhood learning centers in Iowa to develop and implement benchmarks and standards for pre-K students. The program currently houses children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age and attributes its success in preparing children to enter kindergarten to research-based practices such as quality staff, a suitable environment, appropriate grouping practices, consistent schedules and parent involvement.
