My 2 children have attended this school, and contrary to the April 26 poster, we have had a wonderful experience. Casa fosters high levels of independent thought and self motivated behavior, exactly what we had hoped for. Our oldest moved to kindergarten far ahead of his peers and has carried his motivation through his first year. My wife, a teacher and I both highly recommend Casa to anyone looking for a solidly educated and motivated child.

Our family, and others we know, did not have a positive experience here. Leadership lacked warmth and was overbearing and defensive when addressing behavior concerns or concerns about the school. Did "not care why disruptive behaviors occurred, just that they did not happen". There were no "open house" events for families and parental involvement was not encouraged. Did not feel staff was interested in partnering in the holistic development of the child & teacher generally offered only negative feedback. Would advise this not be a good fit for a child with separation issues or tendencies towards aggressive behaviors when nervous, sad, or frustrated. Again, we were told they don't care about what these behaviors are trying to communicate, and in our experience we witnessed this approach develop into an emotional and physical power struggle between staff and our child. Also received input from other parents that they felt the program was too reliant on worksheets when teaching the children. If you are considering this school, I would unexpectedly drop in and observe, and be sure your child can meet the expectations there.

This school is wonderful! My 5 year old will be entering kindergarten next fall and she already knows how to read and write as well as work alone. She takes great pride in her accomplishments and I know that she and the other children are encouraged in their own individual interests. I will be sending my 3 year old son next semester!

This is only school for the young child that has a solid academic program. It follows Montessori principles, which are incredible. Our child finished kindergarten there and can read, write, add and subtract. She has great patience with tasks, and works carefully. The school goes from out of diapers (2 1/2) through kindergarten. The elementary portion closed. It also has day care.
