I had also heard that Casey's daycare was one of the best daycares, but unfortunately I was disappointed with my experience there too. I did, however, like a couple of the teachers and the fact that there weren't any high school students working there (except in the summer). I think it depends on how high up in the company the employee is in regards to if you and your children are treated well by the "Child Development Center Manager" or not. I chose to pull my child from the facility and couldn't be happier with my decision.

I completely disagree with the other individuals comments regarding Casey's Child Development Center. The Child Development Center Manager strives to go above and beyond State rules and regulations. State reviews have been rated "Excellent" for the past 20 years. In addition, Center follows "Best Practice" guidelines and recommendations set forth by the Health Department and other experts in the field. I also see the teacher quality as excellent. Teachers and caregivers are strong role models who are very caring and considerate. Over half of the staff has worked in the center for over ten years, and many of those teachers have worked there for over 15 years! In addition, the majority of the teachers have teaching and early education degrees. Parent communication and involvement is a top priority in this center. The staff truly strives to do what is in the best interest of the child. If you are interested in bringing your child to this center, call the DHS consultant, she can give you accurate information.

Adequate daycare for parents who are not particular about how their children are cared for. Does not follow state guidelines as well as others in the area, but convenient if you are employed there. The director is not open to concerns and is very defensive if questioned. Inappropriate toys found in several rooms on several occassions over the last couple of years. MOST of the teachers are good with children. I'm a little concerned about the treatment of some of the children. Expensive for what you get. I often wonder where the money is going. It's not being spent on toys and play equipment. If considering this daycare, I would keep looking and not waste your time dealing with the director of this facility.
