Especially Kids

I am extremely grateful for the owner, Lori, and her staff at Especially Kids. My son attended her school for 5 years. Highly recommended to any parent looking for daycare, preschool or Kindergarten that provides a stable environment with low turnover and a hands-on owner. The owner is also an RN and is able to deal with medical conditions - gave me peace of mind!

Our grandson just completed over 6 years at Especially Kids. He had medical issues which were attended to from the time he began at 8 weeks old until he graduated from kindergarten this year. We were always pleased with his treatment and with his extraordinary academic progress. Both his parents and we attended numerous programs and picked him up at various times throughout the day. We never saw anything worrisome about his care. He had a great 6 years.

I have only visited Especially Kids Inc. and would never consider using this facility. The owner/director doesn t seem to like kids or possibly even people in general, I was not shown the infant rooms where my daughter would be staying, they feed the children lots of processed and sugary foods, and let the pre-k kids watch SpongeBob. I think this was the worst experience I had while looking for a daycare even though the facility itself was nice, new, and spacious. Again, I would never use this facility or any facility where I so strongly disliked the owner/director.

My daughter started at Especially Kids when she was 4 yrs old, she went to Kindergarten there and loved it. She was reading in kindergarten! Our son has been going to Especially Kids since he was 4 months old and is now almost 3. Lori Feldmeyer and her staff are wonderful. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a safe, nurturing day care. We moved to the opposite side of Greenwood and drive about 20 minutes to take our son there. We pass many day care centers on the way every morning but I wouldn't dream of taking him any where else. Our son loves it there and I can drop him off in the morning and know that he is safe and loved all day long.

My son has been attending Especially Kids since he was 18 months old and he is now 6. My daughter has been there since she was 8 weeks old and she is now 3 and a half. Lori Feldmeyer and the staff at Especially Kids have been an absolute blessing to our family. I feel so fortunate to have them taking care of our children. They have taught my children the alphabet, how to write, how to read, and most importantly, how to interact kindly with others. My kids have excellent manners and I attribute a lot of that to Lori an her staff.
