I brought my two kids to Safe haven for the last 9 yrs and my wife and I were always very pleased with their service. the kids enjoyed going there and miss not being there now that we no longer use Safe Haven. I recently was promoted and my wife's company down sized so we lon longer neede a child care facility. I would reccomend this provider for anyone looking for a quality child care facility with excellent staff and a reasonable price. And by the way I read some of the reviews below and the "former" employee one states 200 children?? There is not enough room for that many kids! We also received a tour of the entire facility when we strated.

I love everything about this school. The teachers are accessible to speak with if there are any questions or concerns. I was able to come in and peek in on my child during any part of the day. The owner blends right in with the staff. I thought she was one of the employees because she works hand in hand with her staff. The center was clean and the children are even learning Spanish. the children also get homework everyday which is something I like. My child talks about his day every time I pick him up from school. He tells me all the things he has learned and wants to keep going back. i would definitely recommend this center for your child to attend. The center has extended hours and is also open on weekends. This works out well for me because I work rotating shifts.

Watched DateLine NBC about daycare providers. After watching, I want other parents to know about my experience so that they can be informed. My child was there 6 months to long. During this time, I wasn't allowed in the back to observe my child, my child never brought home any arts and crafts, came home with clothing that wasn't ours and ours was lost and my child was brought to me in pants in which she had an accident in and no one changed her. The last incident came after I complained several times that my child was having too many potty accidents and I couldn't understand why she only had accidents at school and not home. Well, surprisingly my child went 1 1/2 months accident free. I thought, are they putting pull ups on my child and taking them off before I would arrived. I asked several times, if my child was wearing pull ups and was told "No". I expressed that this would be unacceptable because my child is potty trained. Guess what? They were doing actually what they told me they weren't. One day they forget to take the pull up off. There were only three things that I liked, Ms. Malika (Director), Mr. Derrick and they did take the kids on several trips.

I STRONGLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SENDING YOUR CHILD TO THIS DAYCARE!! SAFE HAVEN, THIS PLACE IS NOT!! THE STAFF GIVES YOU THE IMPRESSION THAT YOUR CHILD WILL BE SAFE; WITH THE CAMERA SYSTEM THEY SHOW YOU. PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED PARENTS; THE STAFF THERE IS NOT WATCHING YOUR CHILDREN PROPERLY. MY NEPHEW WENT TO THIS DAYCARE AS A BABY WHO COULDN'T WALK AND WASN'T THERE 2 WEEKS; BEFORE HE WAS SEVERELY BITTEN BY ANOTHER CHILD NOT ONCE BUT THREE TIMES; WHERE WAS THE TEACHER?? THIS CHILD HAD BITTEN OTHER CHILDREN & STAFF PREVIOUSLY; WHY WAS HE STILL THERE?? MY NEPHEW SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN A VICTIM!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILD; DO NOT.., I REPEAT DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PRECIOUS CHILDREN!! BY THE WAY WHEN ASKED TO SHOW THE TAPE OF WHERE THE TEACHER WAS; GUESS WHAT? SUPPOSEDLY THE CAMERA SYSTEM WAS DOWN!! THIS DAYCARE ISN'T A SAFE PLACE!!
All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.
The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.
