My three children have all received a Montessori education. Garden Gate is a wonderful place for your child to receive a quality education, a nurturing place to express themselves, and to be fully prepared for 1st grade. My son completed his 3 year cycle at Garden Gate (3-6 yrs old) and was so far advanced once he entered the 1st grade, he tested into the second! The children receive lots of outside play time (they have a great outside space) and the guides are exceptional. I felt the guides were always available to me for discussions regarding my son's education. He learned so much about respect, communicating with other children, and I did not find another school that had such a diverse/multi-ethnic enrollment! Garden Gate became a second home to my son and I am forever grateful our time there.

Reply to "less than perfect child": We at Garden Gate Montessori School strive to make sure each child flourishes academically and socially. When we find a child is struggling in the classroom academically, socially or emotionally, we work with the parents immediately to help the child adjust to school. We acted quickly beginning in August through November to implement, with the help of the parents, various approaches to help modify this child's behavior to ensure the child's safety as well as the safety of the other children in the classroom. After several conferences, everyone concerned; the parents, teachers, and administration all agreed that the child's needs would be best met in a different early childhood setting.

If your kid is anything less than perfect I wouldn't send them here. Funny how they decide my kid wasn't montessori material 3 weeks after the fundraising money was due.

I never imagined that our son would leave kindergarten reading chapter books and knowing the entire United States in alphabetical order. He loved every moment of his time at Garden Gate.

This is a fine school, outstanding owners and staff, my son has blossomed there, I could not be happier, he was shy and now he is making friends and proud of his work. Kudos GardenGate! Worth every penny.

My son started attending this school in the fall. He started a little bit after the beginning of the year, and the teachers were very welcoming. They worked really hard to make him feel comfortable. He really loves going to school to do his 'work' and is very proud of what he accomplishes at school.

We haven't been too impressed. The staff is friendly to certain parents - favorites. Plus, our child received a bruise from another and they didn't even inform us when we picked her up that day. When the kids are on the very large playground, the teachers sit in chairs way off to the side, and talk to each other instead of actively monitoring the kids. In addition, our child constantly asks to 'not go to school anymore', and she loved going to school when she went somewhere else...

We couldn't be more pleased with Garden Gate! Our daughter has truly blossomed in her time there. The staff is amazing. They truly complement each other and work together well to support the best interests of the children. It was the best choice we could have made for our child!

The staff at Gardengate is exceptional, not to mention the facility and the excellent foundation they are instilling in my son. I could not be happier with this school! Melissa Turi
