We have one child that went to school there and is now a second grader in the public school. Our second child is still at Aurora Montessori and is in the kindergarten program. My wife and I have been very impressed by the teaching, the atmosphere and the attention offered to each child at this school. It has been a great partnership for us and my first child was abundantly prepared for her transition to public school.
Both of my children currently attend this school. My children LOVE school. It is a wonderful experience for them. They are growing behaviorally, socially and academically. The teachers and all staff members have always been incredibly accomodating. I would recommend this school to everyone. My children are also learning indepence. My husband and I are thrilled and our children are way ahead of most kids their age in most categories.
This is in response to the parent who wrote his comment on Feb. 11, 2010. ...Not only is your angry comment about "the rest of the teachers are not good",slanderous, but extremely untrue! You obviously have no idea, whatsoever, about "the rest of the teachers" who by the way, happen to be caring, talented and devoted to the well-being of all the children. Each teacher may have a different personality and manner, but every teacher is a highly trained Montessori professional, who cares about the "whole child." I actually feel sorry for someone who feels the need to spread such malicious comments. Maybe YOU should go to Aurora Montessori School so you can learn how to use kind words and manners.
The staff at Aurora Montessori School truly cares about the children they teach. I have found them very accommodating & understanding for my children and their needs as a unique individual. This school has also provided my sons with an outstanding start to their educational experience. They are now confident, loves attending school, socializes with a diverse range of families, and the staff are dedicated to my children s overall development. The Staffs are all highly committed to their profession and the children and families at the school. As with all schools, everyone's experience is different depending on what one is seeking for their child. In our family, Aurora Montessori School is the school for us.
Not great school. I enrolled my daughter after recommendations from few parents. Basically the school has one good teacher and kids who are in her class, we can say they are learning something. But rest of teachers are not good. And the school policies changes for each student. We really had bad experience. I sent my daughter for 3 years, I see no benefits. Think twice before enrolling. I did not see much enrollment last year. They are losing lots of kids. Sometimes we feel that they more business oriented. They say it is for benefits of kids we do,but I say if we spend atleast 30 mins a day with our kids they learn lot. Thinks
Awesome school with really affectionate and patient staff. Our son moved from India and AMS made the transition for him so easy with their love and care. The principal, the teachers and all support staff are very friendly and approachable.
Ecellent school for 3-6 year olds. The teachers are friendly and patient. My daughter has progressed in leaps and bounds whilst under their tuition. Highly recommended

Excellent teachers and staff. The children are nourished in academics and leadership. The teachers are very passionate and experienced. The front desk staff is always friendly. Our kids have learned so much at this school. They enter 1st grade being prepared academically and socially.
Aurora Montessori School is a very good preschool for ages 3-6 years old. There is also a 2 year old toddler program.
