Our school is Christ The King Lutheran Preschool in Coeur D Alene. Our child is in the age 3-4 class. Our definition of "Preschool" in general is daycare with alot of activities. And so that is our expectation also. "The best" thing our child learns is how to follow instructions well. This is a tough age for the Preschool teachers (again, daycare workers is way better descript at age level 3-4). The office staff need to do a MUCH BETTER job at communicating with the parents. Asking us to rate Parent involvement is tough because there's no newsletter, no parent group to communicate with (that we're aware of), only snippets on facebook. Us parents desperately need an effective method to communicate whenever needed. We are working on that. Talking directly with the teachers is vital & positive 99% of the time. Unfortuantely It Is the opposite with the admin staff. Snippits from principal Barbi on facebook contain incorrect info 50% of the time & confusing. We plan to get more involved as parents in hopes that communication (& therefore understanding) will improve. We will update this rating later if this website will allow it.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
