We are a military family and my oldest child attended the preschool at FB Haleiwa. I was told of the program from a couple of locals I'd met at the library. There aren't too many preschool options on the North Shore, and there does tend to be quite a waiting list. The tuition is quite affordable. The materials and the building are far from new, but the I can't even describe the charm this preschool possesses. The warm, nurturing atmosphere, the kind and compassionate staff that treat the children as if they are part of their own ohana, and the fresh ocean air that they breathe whilie playing on the great playground...are all priceless. The curriculum might not meet the expectations of a parent looking for a heavily academic curriculum for their child, but if you are looking for an affordable, safe, nurturing, and all-around enriching program, they are it!
