Hopefully Mirror Lake is better than it's sister school, Paulding Kids University off of Ridge Road. They are owed by the same people but ran by different directors. My children attended PKU for 2 months before I moved them. It was awful!!!! On one occasion I went to observe my son and found 10 toddlers on the playground with 1 teacher (state ratio is 8:1) and half of them did not have their socks or shoes on. On 5/11/2014 I watched the Assistant Director, Mary, leave a boy that could not have been more then 8 years old in a class room alone for approx 5 mins. When she returned and figured out that she had left him, she started yelling at him for now paying attention and following her. Thank goodness for iPhones with video cameras, I recorded BOTH of the situations. Besides that every time I walk through the building I see teachers on their phones and not paying attention to the class. Kids are hitting each other and the teacher is sitting their texting, really? When looking for a childcare provider do your research. Look for one that is quality rated.

Paulding Kid University on Ridge Road in Dallas, GA. The school is one of the best ones in this area. The staff is great. My granddaughters both love it there. I put them in the center when they were 2 and 4 yrs of age. They felt so comfortable there from day one. They are now 5 and 7, The youngest will start in the Pre-K program there on Aug.1, 2013. It's been so far the greatest experience for all of us.

I thought this school would meet my high expectations, but I only felt like it was pretty good not great. The staff was friendly. My child stayed in the Afterschool Program and is school age. The Afterschool room was nice and large, but there was also times that preschoolers were in there too... Don't know if they've changed since then. Honestly, I liked Paulding's ASP program better. My child does better with it. I had no problem with the staff and the ASP teacher even had children her self which put me at ease. Kids acting mean could of been dealt with better.

Best place for your kids!! My children have been going to PKU since we moved here in 2006. The staff there is so amazing, we love all of them! My son also went to pre-K there, he learned so much and was way above where he was expected to be when he entered Kindergarten the following year. These people will love your children like they are family!

Paulding Kids University is the best preschool that I have ever put my children in. When I moved to GA, I was a little apprehensive about finding new childcare for my children but they made me feel comfortable and they are like family. I have a newborn and one in Pre-K there and my 1st grader goes there on vacation from school. The staff is simply marvelous and they care very much about the children in their care. Never a bad comment about this preschool, I recommend it to everyone I know.
