Open Arms Chrn Child Development Center

We have been blessed to have put both our children through preschool at Open Arms. They have found the perfect balance of teaching and play for these ages. They encourage and support development and learning, but also recognize that every child is an individual and that learning can take many different foms. The teachers are warm, loving, and experienced (more than I'd found anywhere else, the turnover amongst their preschool teachers is very low). The administrators are organized and accessible, and their care for the school (teachers, parents, and children) is obvious. The children have access to educational computer games, musical instruments, well-stocked reading areas, science experiments, musical instruments, building toys, and pretend play areas (dress-up, puppets, a pretend kitchen, etc). They also have Spanish and Chapel once each week. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Open Arms for our children!

The caregivers genuinely care about the children. I never walked through the halls to hear a child crying without the supervising adult immediately attending to the child and picking him up. My three sons each attended Open Arms from ages 2-5, and I was extremely pleased with all of their experiences there. wwhole
