I am super impressed with this school. The professionalism and kindness of the staff and it's teachers are impeccable. The facility itself is state of the art and clean and spacious. When I brought my daughter and we drove up and saw this place she said, "Oh Mommy is the my new school? It is beautiful!" I know before and after school my child will be learning and trying new things instead of babysat like other facilities I have been. Also Peanut free and does not serve pork or beef, so your kids won't be eating hot dogs or bologna every week. Go check it out and you will be sold!
I found the director to be prejudice and not very friendly, very short and with held truth.
I enrolled my child at the Hiram YMCA location and it is great! My child has improved remarkably. The other pre-k that I had placed him at had accused my child of being slow, unattentive etc and had asked me to take him to a doctor!!! I decided to try YMCA and I am so glad I did. My son loves the school and everyone there is friendly. It turns out he has no medical condition. He was just bored at the other school because they were teaching him stuff he learnt when he was 2yrs old. The YMCA facility is clean and state of the art. The doors are kept shut and the signon/off is done on the computer by the parent and child. There is a guard at the door so the place is very secure. Love it. Wish it was an elementary school I would keep my son there.
my grandson attends Hiram's Pre-K. I don't think he could have a better teacher and assistant in his classroom. He is learning not only academically, but appropriate social behaviors also. I am very impressed with their degree of excellence.
Awesome!!!! My kids love it here. The only thing I have seen and didnt like was when my 3 yr old started there classroom was not as nice as the pre K rooms. I understand that the pre k is lottery funded but they need a little more work in his room. It was about a month into his time there and they started stepping up and getting his room straight again. Understand that at this time a pre k teacher had gotten hurt and they sent the 3 yr old teacher down to work pre k which was part of the reason for the disfunction. But they did get a handle on things which is what is important for the children. My 3 yr old will be back for pre k next year. O and the pre k is amazing my daug and son have attended and it was great.
