Ashford Academy

I am very happy with Ashford Academy. I have a child in the 3-4 year old room, and well as in the 2's room. There IS a guided curriculum that is followed, and teachers do a great job with meeting the needs and exposing my kids to new and excititng activities. As a teacher, I am very pleased. The only area of improvement I see is that the front door is not locked at all times, and I wish that it were. There is a half door that keeps the kids from being able to exit the building, but I am going to recommend that the front be locked at all times. There is adult presence for check in and check out.

Our Daughter has been attending Ashford for 1.5 years and loves it! She is almost 2 and the staff really loves the children there and it shows. I would highly recommend them and I always feel like she will be taken care of when I drop her off.

When my son was 8 mos. old I was called back to work. I needed to find affordable childcare quickly, and Ashford Academy found me. I really admired the education and professionalism of the center's director, and the nurturing and care they showed for my son was reassuring. One complaint would be that a large number of the staff speak very little English, making it difficult as the child gets older to effectively communicate needs and concerns. Clean, safe environment and very affordable rates make it attractive to many parents.
