While I realize that teachers may come on here to post reviews, I think it's shameless that the executive director has had them do so...especially so may, in such a short period of time. You have to question the motive.

I have worked at Carrington Academy for over 3 years. I have never been so excited to come to work. I absolutely love my job, co-workers and Executive Director. Our Executive Director, Kimberly Sharpe, is the best thing that has yet to happen to Carrington. She is so positive, loving, giving, and just a joy to be around and work for. The environment that Ms. Kimberly and the staff create, it is like no other. My own daughter has attended Carrington for over 3 years. She went through preschool, Pre-K and now attends their afterschool program. She absolutely loves it and I feel blessed to have her here. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the children and families. I am very proud to say I work at Carrington and that I am part of the Carrington Academy family.

I have been a parent at Carrington for 1 1/2 years. This is a beautiful community of administration, teachers, families, and children. The feeling of community that you get is immediate when you walk through the front door. Carrrington nurtures my child in all areas and she comes home every day happy and excited about what she experienced at school. There is great consistant communication between the teachers and my husband and me. I always feel connected, welcome, and partnered with. We love Carrington!

Carrington Academy is the most loving, nurturing, and hands-on center I have ever worked at. I have been working at Carrington Academy for a year and I have worked in childcare facilities and Elementary Schools for the past five years and this is the best place I have ever worked for so many reasons. The environment from the moment you walk in the door is inviting and engaging. There is an amazing staff that work here, from those who welcome you at the door and are that smiling face each day you arrive, to those who manage the school, to the teachers who engage, teach, inspire, and love the children each day. Of all of the places that I have worked, my coworkers here are the most energetic, enthusiastic and encouraging people to the children, parents, and co-workers. The environment in each classroom is one that inspires children to want to learn, create, socialize, and be themselves. Our director here, Mrs. Kimberly Sharpe, is the most inspiring leader anyone could ask for. She guides the children and staff to greatness and teaches us to be our best. I feel honored to be able to say I work at Carrington Academy!

I am an assistant teacher for Georgia Pre-K at Carrington and it is a wonderful school to teach at! The school has a great sense of community. So far this year they have hosted a fall festival and a food drive for Thanksgiving. The teachers all work together to share ideas and to support one another. We all know the children in the different classrooms and that makes the school a warm and happy place to be. The Georgia Pre-K program allows us to do so many fun and creative activities with the children. We do lots of experiments and observations, cooking activities, arts and crafts, phonetic awareness, number recognition, music, creative movement and more. With children reaching different academic milestones at different times, the program allows for the flexibility of each child to move at their own pace. Our children love to come to school each day and I love to see their smiling faces. I am positive that their Carrington experience will have them fully prepared for a successful kindergarten year.

I have been working at Carrington Academy for almost four years now. I began working at Carrington after the birth of my son in 2008. As a new mom entering back into the work force, I was terrified to leave my child in the care of a complete stranger. The infant teaching team eased my fears and embraced my child as if he were their own. In 2009 when I gave birth to my daughter, she was with the same nurturing teachers that my son had been with. My children have had the same infant, young toddler and toddler teachers. Working as a teacher here and getting to know my fellow staff members has been amazing. The teachers here are the most energetic, enthusiastic and encouraging people. The teachers are led by the most amazing director, Ms. Kimberly Sharpe, who guides them to greatness. Not only does Ms. Kimberly take amazing care of her staff, but she is a soothing voice to any areas that may be concerning to our families. Carrington has not only embraced me as an employee and provided me with opportunities to advance my education and career, but has embraced my children as well. Carrington Academy is truly an extension of my family. I couldn t ask for a better school!

We love Carrington! My two children have been attending since 2006 and love it. They have graduated through all classrooms and still get to see their old teachers every day! My 5 year old is going into Kindergarten next year!

The decor is nice and beautiful, but no caring shown towards my kids especially the older one in the Preschool Program. Kids are not allowed to bring in any food or sippy cups from home. My kids starved everyday they were in school. I'm not sure if my children were giving something to eat, or if they refused to eat the food given to them. I tried talking to their teachers, but the teacher in my sons preschool class will not give me a chance to discuss my concerns. Instead she avoids me by placing my son's daily status report sheet in his box. The daily report sheet is supposed to be a two-way communication between the teacher and the parent. I reported the incident to the management, but nothing was done about it. I was told that they will talk to the teacher in question and get back to me. I'm still waiting for a call back till today.
