The Children's Garden Preschool5

My youngest attended this preschool many years ago. He is now in middle school. Throughout the years his teachers have commented on his creativity, empathy, personal responsibility, and respect. I credit The Children's Garden Preschool for supporting these traits and helping educate me so I could continue to support growth in these areas. Any school can hand out worksheets, but to teach children confidence, respect for others and the world, empathy and creativity is exceptional. I am looking at the long view and the hard work we did when he was young has most certainly paid off.
My 4 year old has been to this school for the past 2 years - going on 3. This is my 2 year old's first year and we LOVE it here. The teaching is very holistic and nurturing. They help parents inside and outside the classroom. For example, I used to feed my kids stuff I figured was healthy and tasty: think: peanut butter sandwiches and grapes. This led to my child jumping off the walls - then crashing afterwards. I was advised to give him more proteins and fats, and the difference was significant! Also, the teachers here are well versed in the art of rhythms. They helped me to develop a rhythm for my children that gave them the freedom to be themselves and the support and guidance they need to grow into healthy adults. I have to say though, this is not the type of school that will tell parents anything to pacify them. One of my absolute favorite characteristics of the Director, Sally is that she will tell you how it is. Sometimes, parents are not ready to hear any suggestions on what their child may need. But, having two little ones, I know I need all the help I can get! Her advice is always right on point, and it has helped my children immensely!
Both of my daughters attended this wonderful preschool, and we couldn't be happier! Sally, the director, is incredible as both a teacher and business owner. The curriculum at the school has a perfect balance of academics, arts, imaginative play and physical activity. I would recommend this school to everyone and anyone I know!
