Profile Completeness

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Aloma Methodist Early Childhood Learning Center is an amazing school in so many ways! The teachers and office staff are so involved with educating the kids in creative and interesting ways that keeps the kids engaged and excited about learning. They offer before and after care for the parents that have work and many more classes like sign language, spanish and cooking! My daughter loves her school and is excited to go everyday!

I love this school! Since day one they treated us like family. The staff is so friendly, loving, knowledgeable, and so creative! They always find amazing ideas to teach the daily lessons, making the learning process fun and interactive. My 4 year old daughter LOVES Aloma MECLC so much! I always recommend this place to friends because I think every child deserves a learning environment like the one offered here.

Aloma Methodist Early Childhood Learning Center ha helped my granddaughter develop into a beautiful, Christian 11 year-old. Now my 20 month old grandson is in Miss Marylou's class, who has the love and patience that helps my child look forward to learning and socializing . We feel she is a member of our family!

Aloma Methodist Early Childhood Learning Center is a wonderful, Christ centered pre-school. My 8 year old son attended both Pre-School at age 3 and VPK at age 4. My 4 year old is currently enrolled. I, my- self attended the very same school in 1975. Times have changed, however the love of the Lord is still alive and well. The administrator, Barbara Twachtman (Mrs. T) and her staff are exceptionally talented, loving, and are filled with the joy of the Lord. This is evident in both their teaching and the expressions of our children. I would without pause recommend this school to any parent, grandparent, and family member searching for an exceptional early learning center. The education and Bible based teaching is beyond compare. Thank you for your 41 years of service to both our children and our community.

I can not say enough good things about this school! My daughter has been going there for about 8 months and we love it. Her teacher is so great and actually cares about her. The office staff and director are also so nice and helpful all the time. The class sizes are small and you can actually tell how excited the kids are, to get to school every morning. You see kids running back to hug their teachers goodbye at the end of the day. I am so blessed to have found such a wonderful place for my toddler! Thank you Aloma Methodist for all you do!

We LOVE this school! My 4 year old attends the VPK program. The staff and teachers are amazing and really care about the kids. My son can be a handful at times, But his teacher, Mrs Barker is always looking for ways to reinforce his positive behavior.

Great school! My 4 yr old son joined school 2 months later than rest of the kids. But he just fit in the class so well. He loves his class teacher and loves every little thing they do at school. I like the fact that they have a theme every week and activities are done based also on a bible verse. The classes are divided according to age group and the activities are all age appropriate. My son does extended care and I do not get to meet his class teacher, instead an extended care teacher when I pick him up. So the communication folder that is given to the kids are extremely helpful in being aware of day to day events, child's performance, concerns, progress or anything we would like to know. The teachers and staff are very friendly and helpful anytime we meet them. I chose this school based on reviews from other parents because we were new to this city. But I am glad I made the right choice, considering the flexibility of their program and the caring and positive atmosphere he is in each day.

I cannot say enough good things about this preschool. The teachers have been so loving to my son, and he has learned so much! The director is welcoming and friendly, and the entire office staff is knowledgeable and kind. They have flexible hours, so you can pick up your child a little later if you need to without having to commit to the same time every week. The student to teacher ratio is very low, so your child gets the attention they need. I do not regret enrolling my child in this school and neither will you!

My son started going to Aloma during the last school year and he loves it. The teachers are warm and caring, give lots of one-on-one attention, and provide students with a fun and exciting child care/preschool experience. The director and management team are amazing. I wouldn't send my son anywhere else.

Aloma ECLC is a caring loving environment to leave your preschooler in. They believe in learning through play and come on isn't that how we would all rather learn. The teachers and staff work with parents through any problems that may arise and truly care what is happening with your family. My son is in VPK and he is already reading and ready for Kindergarten. Fabulous! He loves going to school and playing with his friends and teacher.

I am so happy with this school. My son started attending when he was about 19 months and our experience has been exceptional ever since. His teachers have been so caring, patient and loving, and I have been amazed by some of the things he has learned even though he only attends a couple of days a week. His teachers are genuinely interested in his development, not only in the basic skills and academics he is learning, but also in social skills. And, I really love the fact that he is learning Christian concepts. They pray before lunchtime, which further emphasizes what we are already teaching him at home. One of the things that I am most thankful for is the weekly newsletter that his teacher provides. She includes all of the activities that the class has been doing, and is sure to point out special achievements or neat things that each child has done that week. I am always so excited to read the newsletter and see what my little guy has been up to. I couldn t be more thrilled with this school!

I am the Director of Aloma Methodist Early Childhood Learning Center. I have been Director for 12 years and worked prior to that 5 years as Music/Movement teacher. I am so blessed to be able to work with the staff that I have. They are amazing people! The love and care that is shown to the children amazes me everyday. And the ability to work with children at all levels of development...socially, emotionally and academically is truly a gift.

Aloma Methodist Early Childhood Learning Center is the best Preschool in Central Florida! The teachers and staff truly care about children and their families. The teachers are not there just to have a job. They are there because they LOVE children. My son has been going there since he was one and is now in a VPK class. If you are looking for exceptional care and a quality learning experience you need to take your child to Aloma Methodist Early Childhood Learning Center!
