This one of the worst pre-school I have ever been to. First the teachers they have can't even spell or speak English.. So what are the teaching them? Second every week my child got sick there. The girls at the front desk have attitudes with you and owners will say anything to make you stay or leave they lied to my wife and said I was talking to other parents about how bad the school was which I was not til now.! Thanks for the idea though!! Cause I don't normally complain so thanks.. That school is very unprofessional.. There are 3 other schools I'm the se area that are way better.. I took my son to summit Christian. Son improved with reading and verbal development there go there if u love your kids go to ABc if you hate your kids

My two children, ages 2 and 4, have been attending ABC since they were babies. The school is well-run, and the teachers are great. The young children get a lot of one on one attention when they are babies and in the toddler room. My 4yo is in VPK and I can see the skills he has learned this year. I love that the school has tight security. In some ways I am not looking forward to my 4 to graduating and moving onto kindergarten because I know that he won't get the same care and attention in public school as he did at ABc.

ABC so I thought was a great school, but a as soon as they start letting go staff it gets worse by the day since my child been there they have had five front office people, teachers are coming and going. They don't tell you what's going on till the day of so unprofessional. And when you have concerns about your child they can never do anything to accommodate your child well being. I thought it was just me but I have seen so many parents remove their kids from the daycare just as they remove the teachers. A year ago I would have recommend this daycare but now its not worth you or your child time. Don't get me wrong the teachers are very passionate. It's not the school it's the owners

As a parent my children used to go to ABC Childrens. The school is not professional and they lack customer service. When I would try to address the situation the owners did nothing to stand by the parents. He is very contolling and adresses people as if you are beneath him. I would not recommend the daycare to any parent because they are seeking money. The reputation is far from stellar as you can see from reading reviews for the past 4 years. They did nothing to rectify the situation I had with my child. I went through the same thing as the parent wrote on August 28. I agree with the parent 100 percent. There is no character assisination it is only the opinion of the parent who voiced concern regarding her children. They dont address the teachers and if they are at full capacity is due to the location and sad to say but even bad daycares stay in business. I was never satisfied and unhappy as well due to the lack of respect.

I am the owner of the preschool. In response to the review of August 28, 2013, it is regrettable that the parent needed to engage in character assassination because her constant complaining about the school and its teachers was not allowed to continue. ABC Children's Learning Academy has been providing care to the children of West Palm Beach since 1989. We are at full capacity and enjoy a stellar reputation in the community. The parent who wrote the review could not be satisfied no matter what was done to try and make her happy; that is why we asked her to find another school. Fortunately, the parents and guardians of the over 180 children in our school speak to our quality, care and concern.

The daycare facility is horrible. The owners/staff are very unprofessional. When you voice an area of concern they do nothing to address the issue. I was told that they have plenty of kids on the waiting list and no longer needed my three boys attending. The owners have no respect and customer service. They only care about money and not the welfare of the kids. I pulled my boys out of the school immediately!!! The staff is all over the place and they dont even greet you in the morning with manners. The owners/staff lack customer service, professionalism, and ownership of any matter. I would not recommend the daycare to any parent. They will not show you respect please dont be fooled by the pretty website and the talk about education because it is not enforced. The attitude is extremely bad.

The teachers are good, too bad their turn over and/or shuffling of teachers is constant. The owners are horrible. They only care about money. If you have a concern they make no effort to take any action. This is also true of the assistant directors. Unless they like you, they don't even say good morning. There have been several times I've had to question my kids' safety. There are tons of rules, but they are selective who they enforce them for. It was a great school at first but then we didn't feel comfortable staying there.

I have two children who attend this school. The school itself had a very good reputation in WPB however things have drastically changed since new ownership has taken place. Teachers are leaving and it is aparent they are leaving because of poor managment. The new owners care too much about running a business and forget how these changes affect not only the children but also the community.

The teachers are great. They care about the children and love to work with children. However, the new owners of the school make the school unbearable to deal with. Which unfortunately affects the teachers as well. The good quality teachers are leaving or they are letting them go. Alot of parents are leaving as well, because of their unprofessionalism.

new owners have made cosmetic improvements to the school but are letting quality staff leave or are letting them go. one teacher does not participate in any holidays or birthdays and this is a huge diservice to the kids. Teachers should teach regardless of their beliefs.

My son attended ABC Academy for 1 year. He loved every moment of it and being that he was 4, he never shed a tear when I dropped him off. He actually cried once when I picked him up :-) He's 5 now and can write cursive and print. He knows his letters, number, colors and shapes. He's even able to read.

I highly recommend ABC to anyone with an infant. Their infant room is small but this is GREAT! My child started at 3 months of age and was not ill ever! The room is kept extremly clean and the teachers are so loving and caring. I could not have asked for a better place. They communicate very well and I never have to worry.

My daughter was in the Pre-K classroom this school year. We loved every minute of it. She is well prepared for Kindergarten. The school offered a great reading and math curriculum along with Spanish, Computers and Sign Language. The extra curricular activities included Karate and Kinderdance. We are going to miss ABC next year as my daughter moves on to Kindergarten. The teachers and staff are attentive and well prepared for any medical emergency. When my daughter suffered a seizure, the staff knew exactly what to do. I'm proud to say my daughter attended ABC and would encourage others to enroll their child/children.

ABC is a great school. The teachers are great, the directors are great and the owners are great. The owners put back more in the school than any other owners. They have painted the school, the children have brand new computers and my child is always getting educational material to take home.

ABC needs to work on curricilum, staff and Adminstration. We are saddened to leave ABC due to poor parenting skills, lack of parent involvement and doubled classrooms. Owners need to play more of a part in the daily running of the school. To much free play by the staff and childrens education put second!

My child has been in rolled at ABC for four years. The curriculum is excellent and the teachers are very helpful. My daughter has come a long way with the help of this school, she is so proud that she can read and write her name. She loves the art projects that her teacher does in the class. I am vey happy with the school. I have already had friends transfer their children here from another school and they are pleased as well.

ABEKA curriculum is fantastic. However, since change of ownership in 2005, school management has left a lot to be desired. The school is not as clean as it once was. Teachers for the lower grades (toddler Pre K) keep changing. Extra-curricular activities are practically non existent and parental involvement has dwindled dramatically. It is a shame that what started out as such a fine school should come to this.

This is my 1st year at ABC. This school is a privatly owned pre-school ages infants-pre-k and also a private elementary k-2. My child has been very happy this school year. With fun activities , the ABeka curriculum and good teachers. As a parent of older children that have also attended pre-schools I was shocked at some of the recent reviews. Thier is a suggestion box in the front office and the administration is very approachable. As for the elementary grades I did enroll my child in Kindergarten- Ms Margaret is an excellent teacher that has been at the school for over 6 years. If any parents are unhappy with the preschool Palm beach has other preschools. I did shop around and ABC was the best in the area.

My children have attended this school for the past 6 years. It was great until the owners changed. Since then it has quickly gone downhill. It is dirty and is not kept up. The owners are never there, and do not care what the parents think. They fail to post their rates but require a $100 registration for you to have a spot next year. The new director has not provided any assistance and is not friendly. The teachers have been great. In fact, that is the only reason we have stayed. Although we were going to stay another year, we have changed our minds and are moving on. I will not recommend this school any longer. I will now tell other parents to stay away.

I researched and visited about 12 schools in the WPB area before sending my daughter to the ABC Academy. Overall it is a good school. My daughter has attended it for the last four years (age 1 to age 5)and for the majority of the time I feel she has received a good education, has had wonderful teachers and has enjoyed all the additional activities they offer. The only issue I have had with the school in the past four years is their inability to manage the school as well as it should be managed. As a parent you will experince this, luckily the children are taken care of by the teachers, not the owners/directors.

ABC has change tremondously. It seems to have lost the balance between academics and play. When I enrolled my daughter I was so excited about what she was learning.By the end of the year she was able to read sentences and write in cursive. She loved going to school. Everything has changed this year. Administration and Director do not seem to work together as before. There has been lacking in computer and Spanish and P.E.I am frustated at the change. I gave it a chance and now it is time for us to move on.

My child attended ABC from 96 thru 2001. My child entered elementary school with a higher understanding of mathmatic, literacy and social skills than the average kingergarten student. She is also one of 4 from ABC in the same gifted program at her school.

My son has gone to this school for two years. This school has a very warm and loving atmosphere. They have a BEKA curriculum, small class size and the two greatest pre-k teachers (Ms. Ada and Ms. Lisa). They also offer extra activities such as fun bus and karate. Children learn Spanish, computers, and sign language as a part of their normal curriculum! The only draw back is the curriculum can be too challenging for some pre-k 4 s they learn cursive writing even if they have not mastered regular writing; but the teachers do modify the curriculum to meet the child s needs.
