They love to test. When it rains they only watch movies. Be ready to pay full price for months when they close for two or more weeks. They also love to take days off. Makes it hard on working parents. Church members there get a great deal and special treatment. All others are not treated so well.
Note that many of the reviews are quite old. This school is currently suffering from a lack of vision and leadership. Parents beware: A mediocre experience all around for children in the VPK program! VPK classes are obsessed with testing and spend the whole year working on the same information; play and fun are not an important value; the school is closed often (though you are required to pay full prices for those months); regular fundraisers are held with no transparency for how profits are used; teacher turnover occurs regularly with little to no communication to parents. Embarrassment and humiliation were the behavioral techniques employed regularly by the teachers in VPK. Our 2 year old had an excellent teacher who worked very hard with the children, but the experience with VPK was incredibly disappointing.
This school is wonderful! I couldn`t be happier or more at peace sending my child here. The quality or leaning and the programs offered cannot be found anywhere else. The prinical himself even meets and greets the parents at the drop-off area every morning. That is a rarety.
