My son used to go to Mary Go Round. They behaved as if it was an inconvenience to watch my son. My son is an only child and not used to be in certain settings. You would have to give him sometime to get used to it. They would complain about any little thing my son did. One evening , when my husband went to pick our son up, one of the male personnel told my husband in front of other parents that Friday would be my sons last day there. Mind you it was a Wednesday evening. My husband was shocked and appalled that 1. They would say this when my child was not exhibiting behavior warranting him being kicked out of a daycare. The handbook clearly stated: biting, spitting, kicking, fighting etc. would be causes for termination of service. 2. That they didn't even pull my husband aside in private to explain anything. 3 The male personnel had an attitude when he addressed my husband. My son was sitting in a chair by himself looking down and crying. The next morning a female personnel apologized. All I was thinking was, why are you apologizing if your organization did nothing wrong and also they never told us why they went that far as to kicking him out.-continued
We currently have our son enrolled in their VPK program and will happily be sending our daughter into the same program this upcoming school year. The staff is always very polite and helpful if we have a question or concern. While the facility itself is dated, the school does not lack in staying up to date with current education requirements. I am always left feeling as if they genuinely care about my child's well being.
