Wonderful School and Staff! I have had my child there since she was 3 and now finishing finishing first grade. She has LOVED going to school everyday. Has tested for gifted and is advanced in her learning. The owners and office lady have always treated us like family while running a school with structure. Anytime I have seen a child sick they have been in the office. Not sure what "kitchen" other post refer. Their lunches come from deli in plaza. We have seen very little staff change since 2008 when we started. For hot faucets, I would like to know why this parent was in my child's bathroom. I know that there is hand sanitizer available and I have seen the children line up to clean their hands. BOTTOM line> Education is top notch. I am impressed with the math, reading, spelling and writing level my child is at. I am Impressed that she had the basics of those skills when she was 5. Most 5 yr olds are not reading and doing math. The school is freshly painted every year. Deep cleaned every break and cleaned daily. Staff is qualified, trained and main teachers are experienced. If you are ready to give your child the best and commit to Montessori you will see the benefits.
what a waste of money! This school say's it offers "healthy' snacks?? I guess you could say watered down apple juice and a few animal crackers healthy. ha! And, hope your kid doesn't get sick here- they will have them laying on a mat on the FLOOR of the kitchen! Completely gross! I also found not one faucet with hot running water. How can you keep a place clean without it? Don't even get me started on the stuck up snooty owners along with the scary office lady. YUCK! Run from this place!
This school was wonderful until you decide to are ready to move your child to the public school system. At that point, the staff and owners change their attitude and begin a brainwashing procedure on your child to stay there through kindergarten. Any other changes in your child's life is met with a rude and demeaning attitude from the owners. My advise, if you put your children here, don't ever try to move them on, the owners don't like that.
What a terrific school! I have had two children here since last fall and am so impressed with the level of learning! The teachers/aides are genuinely caring and connected to each child, and the owners/directors are there and involved every single day. I truly am amazed at what my children are being taught, and mastering at such an early age. No staff turnover whatsoever--same teachers there at the end of the school year as last fall at the beginning. The highest recommendation from this hands-on and educated parent.
My daughter attended this school last year and I can tell you first hand how poorly it is run. There was huge staff changes and the new teachers were not very experienced. They are not very informative to the parents on what goes on there. My childs teacher did not want parents in the classroom and rarely let me know what was going on. It is very loud and not organized in the afternoons, the kids do not have any direction during that time. I was not happy with the school and took my child out.
My grandson went here last year, his sister is here this year, this is a wonderful school, with great teachers and staff. I am so impressed with the level of learning .
Although in the beginning, I found this school to be very on the ball, as the school year has passed for my child I find there to be little to no communication between the schools teachers and myself. They seem almost 'annoyed' when you ask what went on during the day. As a hands-on parent, I like to know what goes on during my child's day. The school has also recently employees some 'teachers' who aren't very kind and patient with the children. That is something that is very worrisome. My main concern though, is the fact that they are constantly enrolling new children but do not seem to be hiring the staff needed for the bigger classes. All in all, I would not recommend this school to anyone I know.
This school was recommended by one of my child's friend's parents as well as a preschool teacher for being excellent. It's not located in a great spot but the inside is lovely.
A great pre-school, where a child learns kindergarten skills early. My daughter is reading at 5, adding and subtracting, learning spanish, and is more academically advanced prior to kindergarten. Music and art is available and is a part of every day. Special events for the holidays are fun, well organized and the kids love the activities. I have been very happy with the school and how the staff apply manners and rules, and maintains order with the children.
