Our family loves Blue Angel Early Learning Center! I am an educator, so it was really important to me to send my daughter to a daycare that would also have a great VPK program. I knew right away that Blue Angels would exceed our expectations when my daughter, who just turned three, could tell me all the days in the week, months in a year, and started learning the State in alphabetical order all in the first TWO WEEKS of attending their daycare (although this is really a full learning facility). The director, Stephaine, as well as all the teachers on staff make our children feel confident and proud of each of their accomplishments. They truly foster a love of learning! I did pull up their kindergarten readiness scores while we were searching for the right place. They scored really high last year. One thing to keep in mind though is that Blue Angel's receives a 0 for every VPK student that moves to another state or goes into a private school in kindergarten. Being so close to the military base means they have a lot of students that move around. Blue Angel Early Learning Center is a wonderful place and I high recommend it to my friends and family.

This school is absolutely wonderful especially for military families!! They have staff that have dealt with how military life works. They are absolutely organized to the tee!! My daughter is attending their VPK program ( which is absolutely free!!) She went into class 2 weeks ago not knowing many of her letters and could NOT write. Now she is writing her name, she knows the Pledge of allegiance and the star spangled banner !! ALL IN 2 WEEKS!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this school for any child... military or not. They are wonderful!!!

I have high expectations when it comes to academics. Having said that I also want my children to enjoy learning and have fun. Blue Angel meets both of those requirements. My boys attended VPK at Blue Angel for a short time before we have to relocate to Rhode Island. They learned more in a few months than they did the rest of the time at another preschool. I was also extremely touched when Stephanie had a special ceremony for my sons and their friend before we left since they would not be there for the end of the year graduation. As a military family, sometimes when you move people are not the most supportive but Blue Angel is supportive and understanding of military families and order changes. I cannot say enough about the school and when we relocate back to Pensacola it is where I want my youngest to attend. Thank you Blue Angel for setting the bar so high.

Both of my children have (one is currently) attended Blue Angel Early Learning Center. What they learned and how quickly they learned it still amazes me. By the end of the year they will know all the presidents, count to 100 in multiples of 5 and 10, know how to read (at their level), know how to write and be more than prepared for kindergarten. The teachers (Miss Brenda and Miss Missy) and the Director Miss Stephanie are hands on instructors. They know and communicate the progress of your child on a daily basis. If you want your child to attend a great preschool, where they will want to go every morning without hesitation, then I highly recommend Blue Angel. Our children came home every day excited about what they learned, what games they played, what they read and never had any complaints. Dakota Lutz

Blue Angel Early Learning Center is a GREAT and Wonderful School!!! We initially had our daughter at the CDC @ NAS Pensacola for about 4 months. I heard about Bue Angel through a co-worker and put our daughter on their waiting list, which took about a month. I was impressed with the structured environment and was pleased with how much she had learned in a month after she was there! After PCS'ing to Virginia our daughter is in a Pre-K/daycare until she starts Kindergarten in Sept. Thanks to Blue Angel she is one of the most advanced students in her class. I highly recommend this school for any Military parents in the Pensacola area!

Blue Angel Learning Center is amazing!!! I was always so scared to put my kids into a daycare but after talking to Stephanie I was 100% sure she would take care of my kids. I love the security that they offer as well. I was amazed when I walked in for the first time and a preschooler picked up a random book and read it to me. Wow!! The place is very clean and the staff are very nice. Stephanie runs a tight ship and I love it. If you are worried about Leaving your little one just call and ask to talk to The director Stephanie. She is involved on a daily basis and she loves the kids like they are her own. I just can't say enough about this place. The summer program is really good too! They are always going on fun field trips and staying active. The kids never wanted to leave at the end of the day because they loved it. Thank again for everything ! ~Stephanie Allen

My child attended BAELC from 2 til 5. This place is great. I highly recommend them if you want your child to have a great educational foundation prior to starting kindergarden. Even if just for VPK, I highly recommend Blue Angel ELC. The employees truly care about the kids.

My daughter attended VPK at Blue Angel Early Learning Center. We are a military family and had to leave before my daughter's graduation. The staff went above and beyond to make sure she had her day. They teach excellent! My daughter knows letters, numbers, words, reading because of the incredible teachers. I recommend this school 100%. And to the staff thank you so very much for all you do.

My daughter attends their VPK and I absolutely love everything about this school. All the teachers are so welcoming and their curriculum is outstanding which more schools should use. I enjoy how the teachers encourage my daughter to do her best, lead by example, show to be positive role models, rewarding everyones good behavior, and show positive reinforcement to those children who need it most. Just an all around great A+++ School.

This is a top-notch daycare & pre-school. I cannot say enough good things about it! It is very very clean, excellent safety and hygiene throughout. The teacher turn-over is VERY low, with a unified approach to teaching and kind but firm standards of behavior. Every teacher there knows each parent by sight and name, and do a wonderful job of keeping parents posted on progress, good or bad. You can tell all the teachers truly love children and really care about their well-being. My daughter is 5, just finishing VPK, and she can write, read 1st grade books on her own, and has blossomed into having confidence among her peers and with beginning public speaking. Thank you to all the employees and wonderful job Blue Angel ELC!!!

We love Blue Angel ELC. The teachers are caring and you can tell the students mean so much to them. We are a military family and they have always been understanding of the unique challenges that come with serving. The location is awesome especially if you have older kids in elementary school at Pleasant Grove, Helen Caro, or Blue Angel. Our daughter left VPK excited and ready for kindergarten!

BAELC is an excellent school! As a military family my children first attended the base CDC and youth center. The difference I've seen is from here to the moon. My daughter just turned 4 and she already knows the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem. The student/teacher ratio is great which allows for more one on one attention. Looking forward to next school year VPK!

BAELC is a great school. We are a military family and have moved around quite a bit. We have experience with multiple preschools. The free VPK program was exceptional. Our son began reading halfway through the year. He is doing really well in Kindergarten now. The staff is very nice. They are well organized and well prepared. Our son loved the pep rally's, brain games, and other fun activities. He is very shy but felt very comfortable there. He even read in front of the entire school at a pep rally. We would highly recommend.

I love this school. The staff is great, very clean smells great when you walk in and the building is open and set up very well. My son (3 years old) started off at another day care and would never tell me he did anything or if he had fun but after day one of being at BAELC he was so excited to tell me everything he did! He has learned so much and already knows all shapes, colors, how to spell and write his name, and so much more. I am very pleased to have my son attending this school. I would highly recommend to any parent.

BAELC is truly an excellent school in every way. I am not one who usually posts reviews but I have had such an amazing experience sending my son to this school and would highly recommend it to all parents. The staff goes above and beyond to help each child succeed as well as feel loved and accepted. The school has great leadership and it shows throughout every aspect of the school environment. My son has learned more than I ever expected and he loves going to school each day. The facility is very clean, organized, and inviting. I love being a part of this school family and especially knowing that my son is in the best hands possible while learning.

Love this school. My daughter is 4 1/2 y.o. and she started to read already. She learns a lot here. Principal is great, teachers are awesome! I really hope my son, who's 3 now, will be able to attend it next year ( VPK class). Plus, it's always neat and clean there and smells good.

This has been a wonderful school for out two boys during our short stay in Pensacola. We started in the 2 year old room and 4 year old room, then the boys graduated to VPK and the 3 year old room. I loved most of the teachers and the ones I didn't care for were let go for better teachers. The boys LOVED going to school each day! Not only do they love on the kids, especially in the younger classes, but the academics were superior to other places we looked at.

I can not say enough about the school and the staff! They go above and beyond for the children here! My son is in the VPK program and I was very concerned about how he was going to do. I knew going in he was a little behind the curve and now 3 months later he is starting to read and learning site words! I love that this school is open and honest with me, there is no sugar coating it to when it comes to these kids. They have the BEST interest for these kids to help them succeed and be ahead when they start kindergarden! I am amazed in all that he has learned. He comes home singing songs and spelling everything! He has a new found love for learning and I love that!

My son is currently attending school at this facilty and I must share that he is learning and growing so much in the environment they provide. The teachers, staff and everyone involved are truely wonderful people and care for all the children. My son adores the director and after seeing her interact first hand with the kids I can see why. I highly recommend Blue Angel Learning to any parent that wants the best environment, care, & education for their child. My son just turned 4 years old and is already reciting our past presidents to me. THANK YOU to the Blue Angel director and the staff for everything you do for my son and all the children.

My three children have been at Blue Angel Early Center since the summer of 2010. as a parent I could not have ask for a child care center who meets my children's needs.. The staff is kind and love the children. my youngest (4 years old) won't leave without giving the director a hug. that tells me as a parent that my children love it there. I have been a teacher for almost 6 yrs., Thank You Blue Angel Staff For Everything You Do For Working Families!

School and teachers are great and very sweet! Now, whoever chose to have that uneducated, unpolite, rude person that runs the front office should highly consider hiring a more capable person. The lack of consideration and respect from her are beyond comprehension. The center is famous for being successful but if they don't get rid of her, it will all go downhill. I will make sure to share the info with the rest of the military community.

Blue Angel Early Learning Center is the program that all others should try and strive to become. I've sent all three of my children to this program, and as a military parent, I've judged every other Pre-school program by my experiences with Blue Angel. They have provided an early learning education well beyond any that I've found in the area. Upon completing their VPK program, my oldest was reading at well beyond a 1st grade level...at 4! They challenge every student they encounter to be the best that they can, both academically and behaviorally. I highly recommend Blue Angel Early Learning Center to every parent who has the oppurtunity to send their child here.

Blue Angel Early Learning Center has done a great job on preparing my son for kindergarten. He has enjoyed going there and learned so much and now my second child is going there too for VPK. The teachers are all wonderful and really worked with my child and has communicated with me on a daily basis about my child's progress or behavior in class. They instill the same values as what i teach my child at home. I highly recommend this school!

Blue Angels Early Learning has been an excellent experience for my son. It is well-run and consistently positive. His teachers are excellent care givers, displaying professionalism as educators and genuine affection for the children. I receive daily feedback about my child's behavior, activity and progress which gives me the tools I need as a parent to best help my child succeed. The director runs a tight ship. I would hope for and expect nothing less to maintain a quality and safe environment for young children. Highly recommend!

My youngest child attended Blue Angel Early Learning Center for VPK and loved it. The environment is structured but fun. The teachers and staff care about the children and encourage them to develop both scholastically and socially. She has learned so much and but has had a blast doing it. They encouraged her to learn at her own pace and to also interact with others. I have some experience with other preschools and the quality of her education from BAELC far exceeds what my older two children received. I highly recommend this preschool to anyone who asks. My child's introduction to learning has been a wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone at BAELC!

My son has been attending BAELC for a year now, and he absolutely receives the attention and care he should academically. However, there have been times when he has told us that he wasn't given enough time to finish lunch, he has come home with his bottom hurting because he wasn't given adequate assistance in cleaning himself and there have been issues with the lack of respect afforded us by the front desk staff. I'm a working mother, my husband is military. We're very aware of what responsible parenting is, and I do not need to be chastised by a stranger for running late. The fact remains, I'm paying for a service. I will use that service as I see fit. If it weren't for the strides he has made academically, I would pull him from this school. The teachers are very kind, patient and adept. However, in the time we've been @BAELC, we have yet to have a parent-teacher conference to discuss progress. The communication breakdown is bothersome, and if you do have concerns, the only person you can address them with is the person most likely to be the issue. Many of the other parents there have the same issues with this person, and we have no recourse as she is the face of the facility.

This is the first transfer my children have had to endure. I had to find a preschool and after school care for them for the first time. My fear was that I would not find a facility to meet my standards. This school has by far exceeded my expectations and not only has been a learning experience for my children, but has made their transition easier for them. The entire staff treats my children as though they were their own. Miss Stephanie, the director, especially has made a huge and positive impact on our life. As demanding as her job may be, She always stops and makes time for me. My concerns or questions are immediately taken care of. I am pleased to say that the values, morals, respect & manners that I instill in my children at home are still being instilled in them at Blue Angel Early Learning Center. I highly recommend this facility to everyone. (Shannon T.)

When we relocated back to Pensacola I was desperate to find a quality, loving center for my child. From the first 5 minutes with Ms. Stephanie, the director I was hooked. My son loves it and I even signed my school age daughter up for the summer program. This school is phenomenal!!!! Parents are encouraged and are involved. They have book fairs just as a regular school would. And summer time field trips are great. Your child will love it and I promise you will too!!!

The teachers and staff are very polite, however that lasy that sits at the front desk....is.a.monster. She discusses things that are inappopriate in front of the children and has no consideration for peoples feelings. I am a grown single mother who does a pretty darn good job at raising my child, however it seems as if though she always has something negative to say about MY PARENTING or MY SON!! ENough is enough! Now the teachers on the other hand are wonderful. I just wish the lady at the front was never around or sat behind a wall all day. Im currently looking for another facility for my son.

Wonderful school! I have very high standards when it comes to the education and care of my children. I looked at many other schools that fail in comparison, Blue Angel is really something special. The director is amazing, the teachers are caring, and the curriculum is top notch! The VPK program is the best around, and is more advanced than most. This is not a "daycare" it truly is a learning center, so if that is what you are looking for, than you have just found it. I give them 5 stars and recommend this school without any reservations.

Wow. I can't believe some of the comments here. My son started at Blue Angel at 3 years old and continued throughout VPK. He was so far ahead of the students he entered Kindergarten with & the teacher was amazed at what he had already learned. As a matter of fact, my son will be returning to BAELC for the summer program because he enjoys it so. I am not sure if the previous people who posted have met the same front office that I have, but I had & still have the utmost confidence in them and have NEVER had any issues. If I ever had a concern, I talked to them about it & it was ALWAYS addressed immediately. When I had to move my son to another daycare for the school year since there was no bus service to his new school, I was not impressed with the first daycare I put him in because BAELC had set the standard for me. So I moved him to another daycare just for the school year. I wish BAELC provided transportation to my son's school because he would still be attending there today if they did. They exceeded my expectations and the front office ALWAYS went above & beyond. I NEVER experienced any of the negative things that were said in the previous posts. I highly recommend BAELC.

I agree with the previous post. Blue Angel was a blessing to us. My daughter loves it. She currently attends PCA and her teachers spoke the praises of Blue Angel. She was prepared for K4 and K5 because of Blue Angel. I will be sending her there for the summer. It's a great place and we have nothing negative to say about the daycare, teachers or front office staff. They are delightful, friendly and very knowledgeable. Go and experience it for yourself. We did and we were very pleased.

Been here almost 2 years! As a picky mom, not only was I impressed with their curriculum, I had also heard nothing but great things about this facility and staff. My daughter has excelled tremendously through her cognitive and interpersonal development and still is doing so. For example, by the time she was three my daughter was reciting her ABC s, knew all of her primary colors and shapes, not to mention she was able to site the Pledge of Allegiance. This may sound like a lot for a three year old, but through song, dance, play, and love she was learning things that other children her age did not know and it was FUN. It is family owned and run so they are deeply connected in the well-being of the kids at this school. The director of the facility has always treated me with respect, honesty, and integrity. Any questions I might have here and there is respected and addressed appropriately. EVERY teacher is invested and each child treated with the utmost care. They are eager to assist with development and give a strong foundation in all areas. That is the caring environment I appreciate! The staff is wonderful, the facility is well taken care of and best of all we love it!

I have had two children enrolled in the VPK and full time program at Blue Angel. My first child graduated VPK in 2000 & my youngest in 2008. I have alway been extremly happy with the staff, and my children love the staff. My oldest, now in High School, still enjoys going there with me to pick up her sister, and hopes to get a job there in the summer to help with the summer program. I have recommended other parents to this facility & they have all been satisfied.

My child attended VPK and was enrolled in their full time program... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY! Although the education provided for VPK students is good towards preparing children for public schools, it is only slightly adequate towards preparation of the private schools in Escambia County. The administrative staff can in no way be considered professionals. The inappropriate language from the front office is inexcusable in any public setting but more so in a child care facility. My child was emotionally scarred due to the physical outbursts during lunch by the staff and is still traumatized due to the corporal punishment mentality. Unless you are friends with the administration, expect rude service, if you receive any. I recommend Pensacola Christian Academy s K-4 and K-5 programs. Price is comparable, they offer bus service, and the education far exceeds programs offered in these child care facilities.

The staff is VERY rude! I put my son on the waiting list when I found out we were moving to the area. After the move, I stopped by to take a quick peek at the facility and ask about my son's status on the waiting list. The woman at the front desk was very rude; she refused to give me a tour (which I didn't even ask her to do in the first place) and told me that my son's name was never put on the waiting list. The worst part is that a new class opened during that time that he was supposed to have been on the waiting list, and he missed an opportunity to be placed in a class. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I'm giving it one star because the website won't allow me to give it zero stars.
