My daughter has been there for almost 2 years - she is now 3. Chesterbrook has a great program. She can write her name, count to 100, knows the days, months, seasons, and is starting to read. Although its mostly working parents whose kids go there because of the full time option, its way more than just "day care". The only complain is class size - toward the end of the year, the classes get quite full. But my daughter has thrived there.

My son started at 1 year old and is about to move to the 2 year room soon. We have been very happy with our experience with Chesterbrook. Ms. Jacqui and Ms. Melissa have made me feel like he is with family all day long. They are very loving and caring and my son adores them! They are as excited as me when he learns something new and show his new skills off to me when I pick him up at the end of the day. We will have a newborn soon and I intend to have her go to Chesterbrook as well... even though 2 kids in daycare is the same cost as a nanny!

I just visited the school, and my daughter is starting in next few days. There has a been a recent regime change at school. The new director is impressive. She clearly 'personally' cares about everyone entering her school. I was taken back by the 'positive' tone of the staff/parents. No rating for me as of yet...will report back in a few months. Just thought it's only fair to point out recent changes enlight of some of the comments.

it's ok. more like a daycare and not a school. Most people are pretty ambivalent about the school.

We've been so happy with Chesterbrook! We had our daughter at a different daycare before our son was born and we see a huge difference! Both kids (2 & 4) have learned so much and the teachers are genuinely invested in the kids. I only gave it four stars because there is always room for improvement.

This is a fabulous school!!! My son has been here since he was an infant, I moved and decided to swich schools for him and I hated the other school. They were completely disorganized so I swiched him back to Chesterbrook within a couple months. Everyone at Chesterbrook at least knows what is going on and exactly where your kid is when you arrive to pick them up. They have excellent teachers who work hands on with each child. Love this school!!!!

My son is in the 2-yr old room and I'm really not impressed. It seems more like a daycare than a preschool. There are three 'teachers' and about 18 children in the class. It seems very chaotic to me. The grammar is atrocious in the weekly letter to the parents about the child's progress My friends recommended this school to me, but their kids are older. I am only keeping my son here because I'm on a waiting list for another school and I have a 10-month old child at home and need a little break. My son is only in preschool two to three half-days per week, so hopefully his being there won't do any irreversible damage.
