Star Child Academy Oviedo

I am a grandmother who takes her grandson to this school every day and this is the best center around. While working full time my children attended various well-known day cares growing up and I wish there had been a Star Child Academy back then.This is the most professional and educational center I have ever seen.At first, based on past experiences I was relieved to have the cameras to watch on line if I wanted.My grandson has attended for about three years including pre-k and kindergarten. He is excelling above his grade level, loves his school, and is exposed to a wide variety of curriculum, including Japanese, Spanish and sign language. There is regular/daily feedback on what is done in class and how he is doing. I cannot say enough about all he has learned in his Kindergarten class and was very happy to hear they also have a 1st and 2nd grade. The staff is available and easy to talk with, very professional and friendly. This is especially true for the owners. They go above and beyond which is obvious not only by their actions but by the noticeable differences between the setup and atmosphere of this center compared to others. This Center has my highest recommendation.

Our daughter has attended this academy since it opens in July 2006. She was just 14 months. Now, she is attending Kindergarden. I didn't even think about moving her to another school. The owners truly care about the well-being of every child. Although I heard from other sources their fees are high when compare to other facilities, the money is well spent. I will be sad when she moves to another school next year.

Our son has been at Starchild since they opened and we have been very happy with the school. The owners are always there, involved and say hello to everyone coming and going. I honestly feel everyone in this school really cares about each child. The curriculum can be a bit much but it is teaching both us and our son how to work together at his education.

We are so impressed with Star Child and their wonderful teachers and staff!! We have three year old twins and they are learning so much from their awesome teachers Ms. Michelle and Ms. Valerie. They come home all excited each day telling all that they learned. They sing adorable songs from Ms. Akiko's Japanese class and are able to tell us what they're saying in English. It is amazing what my three year old twins are learning...compound words, sight words, counting to 100, etc. My husband and I highly recommend this school to anyone that wants a superior preschool for their child!!

Our daughter has been at Star Child for 2 years and we will be so sad when she leaves for kindergarten. The teachers are just awesome and as much as they teach they are caring as well. They have given our daughter a more than solid foundation to succeed and they have set the standard so high that it will be hard to compare. At 5 she is adding, subtracting, knows her sight words, can communicate with sign language and comes home with the cutest songs in spanish. I give this school and the staff 2 thumbs way up.

I have twin girls in the 2 year old room and they have learned numbers 1-20 in English and Spanish. All of their alphabets and are starting to write it. Weeks and Months are already memorized. I'm extremely impressed, especially with their arts and crafts. They are doing great.
