Oviedo Montessori School

Wonderful school. The director and the teachers are so caring and very educated. My son has been attending for 4 months now, he is 2 years old and already learning so much. He is well advanced for his age. The school is very peaceful and has a great atmosphere for the kids. My son never wants to stay home, so that's a good sign. Great school I would recommend it to anyone.

My son attends this preschool and I have been very impressed. The director is well educated and so are the staff. The children are taught an inner discipline, creativity and respect for others. This program is great for children from all backgrounds. My son was an early reader and advanced in some areas and weaker in some. The program has allowed him to continue to advance instead of being held back simply because it is not a state devised curriculum. I am impressed by the fact each child is assessed as an individual not just as a group. These children learn by hands on and also help teach others which is the highest level of learning when you have mastered something enough now one can teach it.

Great school. Concerned about individual welfare of each child. Very in-tuned to child's needs. Good academic level. Ballet and Tumbletime available for extra cost. Require little to no parent involvement. A little disappointed with progress reports - doesn't tell you much about how child is actually doing. But parents are encouraged to speak to teachers privately throughout the year regarding child's progress. Overall I'm happy with the school and level of care.
