St. Thomas Aquinas Early Childhood School is wonderful. My daughter went there for Pre-K and she had a great experience. The education they receive as well as the loving environment is the best you can ask for. I loved how she came home and told me everything she did - writing, painting/drawing, centers, songs, prayers and most of all learning about God. They had a different "job" each week and she couldn't wait to tell me what her "job" was for the week. The teachers are all loving, caring and nurturing. I was amazed at how much she learned this past year. I couldn't believe how well her writing improved from the beginning of the year compared to the end of the year. Also, she was reading by the end of year! I feel my daughter is well prepared for Kindergarten. This is the perfect school to send your child.

St. Thomas Aquinas Early Childhood Center is the best preschool in the New Port Richey area. I have had two children attend previously and both of their kindergarten teachers were very vocal about how well prepared they were, emotionally and academically. I have one child still there, and love the atmosphere and loving environment I drop off to everyday. I would highly recommend this pre-school!

Miss Holly is above and beyond what I ever could have asked for as a teacher for my son. She is a bright, animated and passionate person who puts in an incredible amount of effort and time to ensure that her classroom is a warm, welcoming space full of various creative and challenging areas for the children to explore and discover. She is continuously exposing them to their environment and the natural world around them. She structures the children's day so that they experience learning as fun and invigorating and also have enough free time to play and interact with one another. It is because of her influence that my son has developed a love of learning, exploring and an open and curious mind. Miss Holly is incredibly loving and supportive person. She has mastered the delicate balance of love and firmness that lets her students know they are loved but also expected to behave within her guidelines. Just as she adores and respects them, they adore and respect her. In addition to letters and numbers, Miss Holly has taught my son invaluable life skills about respect for his fellow classmates, empathy, patience and communication.

This school far surpassed my expectations! My daughter has Ms. Kelly for VPK and she is the sweetest, funnest preschool teacher I've ever met. She is calm and caring, yet also so fun and playful. My daughter had never been to daycare or preschool before this year and was very overly attached to me. The staff at this school made the transition effortless. My daughter never once cried in those early weeks. She feels safe and trusts the staff. I feel so grateful that she is getting such a great education from kind teachers, saying prayers, and interacting from children from other nice, religious families. Can't say enough good!

I feel so blessed to send my son to this school. He loves school !!!! They do such fun things everyday, but are LEARNING the whole step of the way. My older daughter went to their VPK program, and WE LOVED IT! Miss Carolyn, one of the VPK teachers has been at the school for many years, and my daughter just loved her, and was above standards when she arrived in Kindergarten. I feel safe sending my children to this school. My kids learn about our faith, academics and fun....I highly recommend this school

All three of my children have gone to St. Thomas ECC since they were two years old. This really is the best preschool in the area! The teachers are more then qualified & the administration is top notch. They truly care about my children and our family. They have such a loving, comfortable & safe learning environment. My kids love coming to school every day, eager to learn and play with their friends. And were more then prepared for kindergarten socially & academically. I am so thankful for finding such a wonderful school and honored to be a part of the St. Thomas Ecc family for over 8 years.

I have been very pleased with the education both of my children of received at St. Thomas. The staff are very caring and provide an excellent example to our children in both faith and love for one another. My oldest child left the school and arrived in Kindergarden ready and above grade level. I have another child currently in St. Thomas and I know when she leaves the school she will be ready for Kindergarden as well. All of the teachers at St. Thomas are highly qualified and the teachers are actual teachers with teaching degrees. I love the atmosphere of St. Thomas. I feel that it is important that children learn through playing rather than through the use of workbooks. They have the next 13+ years of their lives to do "traditional" learning. I would never choose a different preschool for my children. Thank you St. Thomas for everything you do!

I would not recommend this school for the VPK program. It seems more like a daycare than a school. Can not tell you one thing my child has learned this year EXCEPT for social skills.

Very condescending to parents. They need to find better trained staff that knows the difference between asd ,adhd and just normal behaviors instead of diagnosing our kids.
