This school is very expensive, but I enrolled my son because of the curriculum. The school is extremely unorganized. The teachers are always losing things and getting things mixed up. Items that belong to other kids are always put in my sons bag. I fill out the paper work for my son medication and they never give him his medication. I sometimes doubt they apply the sunblock on him before they go out in the sun. I think they only tell me what I want to hear.

This school is very disorganized. They don't have good teachers. Their support staff is horrible.

My daughter at age 4 is learning how to read and write, she knows her months, weeks, colors, alphabet, how to tell time, and many more things. I love her teacher Mrs. Chris, she is wonderful. The school needs to have a better way though on how to deal with kids who are constantly getting in trouble... I would like to see their play ground changed, for example take out the sand and put something better but overall the school is great and staff is friendly.

My three children attended Adventure Bay from 1999 to present. I have to say that it is the best preschool in this area. They have a good curriculum and high quality teachers that care. Also, their after school program and summer camp are really good, because they are both fun and educational. The only problem I had was when a teacher left in the middle of the year, which is a bit hard for a child to get used to. Overall, my children have learned a lot there. My middle child started reading when he was 4, my oldest one when she was 5 and the little one is just 3, and doing great. I would recommend it to anyone in this area.

My son attended two pre-kinder years at this school until May 2007. The first year went very well and I was satisfied with the school. The second year went very bad, I did not see any progress in my kid and I had a lot of complaints. I believe that was because of the teacher which is to my understanding one of the most important factors. I think the school would need to take a better care of its teacher s selection.

My daughter attended 2 pre-kindergarten years at this school till May 2007 and we were impressed by the commitment of the teachers : extremely child-oriented, adding value to the child's enrichment by the day. There is a definite course curriculum that they follow, and if you as a parent can keep up with it, you would find an amazing path of progress for your child before s/he enters kindergarten. Communication to parents is well executed and you get to know what to expect, and to act upon. Teachers are busy, no doubt, but not overwhelmed (at least, they have it under control). Cons - very strict about timings and ready to fine you for a 5 minute delay in picking up your child. Also, their 'VPK hours' is sneaky : 2pm onwards; which means if you register for 9am to 3pm, you only get the state subsidy for 1 hour a day!

My son loved this school. What I like about Adventure Bay is the variety of facilities they have to enhance chidren's development like a gym, playground, pool, media room, library. The children are taught phonics, numbers, letters, crafts and also do cooking projects and show and tell. Overall it is a nice preschool experience for your child. But meet with the prospective teacher because that is one of the most important factors that affect a child's school going experience.

At Adventure Bay there was a good student to teacher ratio which I think really helped my 5 year old son to learn to read and tell time. Thank you Adventure Bay for preparing my son for first grade.
