My son has attending SCS since we moved here when he was 3. He has flourished and grown, and learned so much. He now attends the Kindergarten and reads at a level 1 or 2 - plenty ready for 1st grade. The small classes, the loving, Christian environment and the loving, caring teachers and staff are second to none. They have a music program each week, as well as chapel time. There is always an art project of some sort, as well as special programs throughtout the year. They usually play outside everyday, and get to know the other students and teachers that way also. It's a very 'family' oriented school. Parent involvement is encouraged, and once you get settled, you'll want to always be involved in some way.
This is a small school where the children recieve wonderful individual attention. The teachers attend monthly seminars to focus on positive behavior management. My child feels very confident and comfortable in this setting. There is great opportunity for parent involvement. The children also receive spanish lessons once a week.
