My son went to the preschool and summer camp. It is a clean, safe, warm, and happy environment. It is remarkable what he learned there. My son is a very active and not always the easiest - but they were very accepting. The only thing I might say is that communication could have been better. I wasn't always informed if my son was having issues that we could work on at home.
My 3 year old child entered at the middle of the school year 2013-2014 as a spot became available. It has been the greatest blessing for my child and my family. Her teacher Ms. Nancy was exceptional. My daughter did not understand the phonetic component of the letters and with her teacher's enthusiasm, patience and diligence everything immediately clicked, it just made sense to her. She also taught her to care about others, how to spread Gods love and how Jesus wants us to live. The values, mealtime prayer, chapel time and musical lessons have been invaluable experiences for my child and family as a whole.
My younger son has been at the preschool for two years now. I love the preschool!!! He is now in pre-k 4 and is reading. His teacher is wonderful. She is caring and very dedicated. My son has grown so much. He uses such encouraging words and is extremely polite. I have to thank his teachers for not just an excellent academic education but for a well rounded child.
I cannot say enough good things about this Preschool. The teachers have an infinite amount of patience, love, and kindness and they instill values in every child that they teach. The children have "specials" where they take classes in music, PE, computers, and Spanish and they attend Chapel once a week. The structure that they learn is amazing, the expectations are high and they meet them all. Most children finish this Preschool reading at a Kindergarten level. Every member of the staff is happy to be there and it is a pleasure to be on the campus. My children love to attend this preschool and we are so happy to have found it.
Lots of working on worksheets. My prek teacher was not warm and accepting. Her stern attitude should be for middle school kids. She described children as a "work in progress". Personally, I heard other parents complain about her and who's children had similar experiences as mine. Switched schools and my child ask to go to school everyday. A big change from last year.
