Wyndham Learning Center

My daughter has attended Wyndham for VPK and summer camp and has loved every minute of it. She will also be attending the after school program and is very excited. The faculty is truly amazing and go above and beyond to create a fun yet educational curriculum. I would highly recommend this school.

The staff at this school has been trained and is knowledgable in customer service. Communication between parents, staff, is always welcomed. Individual concerns are always addressed and corrected. But parents need to share thier concerns. Often, full day children are picked-up by their parents from the playground. Since the safety surface is a rubber mulch, children need to be washed upon leaving the playground. So, if a child is picked-up from the playground they may not be perfectly clean. Happy? YES! Curious? YES! Learning? YES! Clean? NOT ALWAYS. Children are washed when they come in from the playground, but if a parent arrives prior to their child beinig washed, they may look dirty and unkempt. The child can easily be washed and cleaned before leaving the school. It is done quite often. At registration, the registration fee is due with 1 week of tuition, for the last week (called security) of the child's attendance. When the child starts school, the 1st week of tuition is due. Contracts can be canceled with one week notice. Then the security is used. A payment plan is arranged when there are financial constrants.

The staff at this center seem unhappy and uninterested in working there. For the short amount of time my child attended, I noticed the front desk staff would speak negatively about certain children or parents. There is a lack of communication with the staff that caused me to miss work on more than one occasion. Although my child seemed to enjoy attending this center, I was unimpressed with how unkempt and dirty she appeared when i would pick her up. They require first, last, and security deposit along with a registration fee.. which is a large financial commitment which led to an even bigger disappointment.
