This is my second review of the school. I had to amend my first review posted 2 years ago, because I did not want to mislead anyone. In the two years since my last review this school has gone down hill. I have learned that they have let one of the favorite teachers go. This dismissal was said to be based on what was best for the children, and I know for sure that was certainly not the case. This dismissal was done as a vicious attack from the administration. It was totally personal, and not done with any interest given to anybody except the administration. There was an outpouring from the school community of over 100 parents, as to why this happened. Our questions were only met with silence from the school and church administration. They refused to refund money that was taken from families who had registered for the next year, never letting on that this teacher would not be there for their kids the following year. This act was done in the most deceitful manner. The reason I have given two stars, is because there are still some good people that work there, but this act places them like all the other schools. It is a business with no consideration for the kids that attend.
St Magdalen was a great experience for my son. He attended it for 2 years. It was a joy for him going to school. The teachers are great individuals. They dedicate themselves completely to your child as ifthey were the only child in the class. My husband and I were both very pleased with the care, attention and education our son received. My son still talks about his teachers. I'm sure it's an experience he will always cherish. The level of education is amazing. I recommend this school to anyone and everyone who wants a safe, loving, proffesional and fun environment for their child.
St. Mary Magdalene is a wonderful preschool. My oldest son went there and now my little one will be going for his second year. The classes are small, the teachers are caring, loving and fun. My little one feels loved and is always happy to go there and sad to leave. Everybody is warm and involved in what they do. My son learns while he plays and I feel very comfortable leaving him there. The preschool itself is in a lovely area with many trees surrounding it. I would definitely recommend it.
St. Mary Magdalene was the best possible experience for both of my children. There are 2 teachers for each class of 12 kids (3 classrooms) so each child gets plenty of love and individual attention. The kids are engaged and happy to be there (my daughter would always want to stay longer- even when I let her stay for "Stay n Play" from noon to 2 pm). The teachers are so warm and loving- I really feel like they loved my kids almost as much as I do! The kids learned everything they needed to know to move up to Kindergarten level (and more) but they had a blast every step of the way. The kids would come home every day with a couple (or 3) art/craft projects that they were so proud to share- the projects always have to do with what the kids were learning at the time, letters, numbers, seasons, telling time, etc. The school has several educational fieldtrips every year, like the fire station, library, etc. They also have visitors come in, like a dentist and police officer. I recommend this school to all of my friends; I really think it's Coral Springs' best kept secret.
Our boys absolutely LOVED St Mary magdalene! They have made life long friends, gained incredible confidence and a top notch preschool experience! My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the individual attention and the communication with the teachers and staff. This place is where you are immediately struck by the warmth and love that will translate to your kids! We are so glad to have been blessed enough to have had our kids at St M&M! Go check them out you won't regret it!
St Mary Magdalene is a great pre-school. It is small (3 classes of 12 kids with 2 teachers per class) so it feels more like a large family than school. The teachers know all the students (not just the ones in their class) and care about each one. They make learning fun for the kids by taking field trips and lots of hands on activities. Both my kids loved going to school there and ask to go back and visit. This group of ladies go above and beyond time and time again for their students.
