Anchor Academy Pre-School

This is a amazing school. I highly recommed it. My child attends here and it is his second year. I will be sending my second son here when it is time! A++++

Anchor Academy is an excellent choice for parents who want their children to leave preschool well prepared for KG. Both of my children were taught by highly qualified intelligent teachers. Social skills, emotional/physical development, and creativity are all fostered in the classes. The school itself is clean, inviting, and well thought out. Some of the extra amenities include a small gym, shaded playground, and extra-curricular activities. Parent involvement is phenomenal. Every year the parents put on a carnival for the graduating children and their is a formal cap/gown graduation ceremony. There was a year that some poor hiring choices were made and some families pulled their children out, but I am so glad I decided to keep my son at Anchor and allow them time to rectify the situation. New owners took over in '08, and Anchor is better than ever. The only room for improvement could be better field trips.

I can't say enough about this preschool!! The entire staff is friendly and you can see they truly care about the children who attend the school. My daughter has been going for about 2 years now and she loves it! I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to put their child in a safe and warm enviroment.
