Appoquinimink Early Childhood Center

All 5 of my children have gone here. My oldest is now 15 and was in the first Kindergarten class here. One of my children has autism and started here for 3 YO preschool. Three of my other children attended the preschool as (paid tuition) typicals. The program is very language based and the teachers are the most dedicated I have ever had the priviledge to work with. Parent invlovement in the school is top notch. And the facilities ans services provided and available leave little to no room for improvement. Here the focus is on your child, their success and preparing your child for excellence.

AECC is a state of the art learning institution with an incredible staff. My oldest just finished up the year and I have two more to attend in a few years. My son had a wonderful experience there.

My niece and my nephew both go to AECC and they just love it. The teachers are just wonderful, they definiately make learning fun for the children.

I currently have my second child at AECC and I am very happy with how it is going. The principal, teachers and staff are wonderful and really have the best interest of the child in mind. There is early intervention for any children that possibly are on the bottom end of the learning curve. they just started a full day kindergarten pilot program which I think will help any child that would otherwise be retained. They are enthusiastic about learning and they make learning fun for the children - which I think is key at this level.
