My daughter started attending this school in October of 2004 at 16mths old. After only being there a few weeks she was learning sign language! I was so impressed with all that she learned and all that they provided for the children. The directors were always personable and very hands on. I think that after GNB started growing and the younger kids were coming in to work, the kids didnt get the most nurturing care. Overall the school was a great place for my baby to spend her first 4 years in, Ms. Karen, Ms. Erin, Ms. Kristen, Ms. Pam, Ms. Debbie, were all awesome and I really hate to see her leave and go elsewhere for kindergarten.
GNB was great back in 2005, but it has gone down hill since they expanded. GNB basically did not want to help my child with his issues they just through the tail in. Now Celebree has helped my son and I thank god I switched daycares.
When we moved to Delaware from Philadelphia, finding a good pre-school was a top priority. We visited about 3 or 4 and none of them compared to the atmosphere at GNB! The office staff and teachers are very attentive to parents' and students' needs. GNB offers fun & educational opportunities for the kids - including computer class and visits from 'community helpers'. There are also 'fun' things for the kids, like puppet shows. They also have separate age appropriate play areas. Ms. Lin and the staff are dedicated to educating the children and making sure that parents are aware of their progress. In addition to structured parent-teacher conferences, the teachers are provide feedback as often as needed. We like GNB so much, that our son will be staying there for Kindergarten.
I searched just about every preschool in the area before choosing GNB, but nothing could equal the facility. My two children have now attended GNB for 4 years. Staff care for the children like they are their own. They work very hard to develop a rapport with parents, and to work with them as a team.
