The Laurel School used to be a decent daycare. Over the last year, they have gone down hill fast. The owner treats his staff horribly and the result is miserable people caring for children. The turnover in staff speaks for itself. The children are bounced around from room to room to accommodate the lack of staff. Sometimes, the infant room is overran with babies and not enough staff. If I could have pulled my kid out of here sooner, I would have!
My daughter went here for awhile. I only stayed their as long as I did. The managements does not do a good job keeping it organized. My daughter was in different classrooms and with different teachers. She's not even with kids her own age. I think that kids need to be in a stable environment to help nurture their needs. We are at a new school now and she has the same teacher who she loves all day
Laurel School is a great school, owner/principal and his family live on site, he is very dedicated and responsible. Reliable too. His school is open even if it snows hard. As working parents, it was god sent. He really tries to create a nice and safe environment for young children. He invests in quality. Teachers were great and passionate. The K teacher, Ms. Kristen and Mr. Michael really prepared my son for the next level, he was really challenged and the results are superior because he is now reading at 3rd grade while he is still a first grader. His experience in Laurel School Kindergarten was great, we recommend and endorse this school. They are sincere people who makes a difference in the kid's life.
My child is in the four year old program, and he loves it...my other child is in the 2 year old program and equally loves attending school there! We are thrilled to see our kids excited every day to go to school.
