This is an OUTSTANDING nursery school! Both my children LOVED being a part of the Villa Divino family. This school prepares your child academically as well as emotionally for kindergarten. My younger daughter, who was very shy, came out of her shell thanks to the loving, nurturing and warm environment created by the Sisters at Villa. My children learned how to share, be respectful of others, take turns and be productive community members. They were extremely well prepared academically, knowing all that was necessary to enter kindergarten. M children were confident learners and youngsters going into Kindergarten thanks to the excellent teaching and guidance from the Sisters! I'd recommend Villa to anyone!!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Villa Divino Amore. My three children have all attended Villa Divino and each one had a great experience. The Sisters offer a very safe, loving and nurturing environment. The education the children receive prepare them very well for Kindergarten both academically and emotionally. They learn to interact with their peers in appropriate ways. The Sisters care for them as though they are family. The school is spotless and very inviting. I know that when I go to work, I don't need to worry about my child because he is in the safe hands of the Sisters.
we have had 4 of our children there since 3 years old,the sisters were always great and it shows as my kids got older with the respect and morals they now have into teenage hood, every teacher we have had in public school has always told us how respectful our kids are in class,i thank the sisters for the respect and morals our kids have learned from the sisters.as far as the complaints below that gave the sisters 1 star, maybe they should go there for a couple classes to learn how to write themselves,or maybe they were the ones that always complained about money and did not pay them the money they owed..we are very satisfied with villa amore...
I'm very happy with my Daughters first year at Villa Divino. This school is well structured and offers multiple programs for the children from Music,Tubblebus(Phys. Ed),Singing, dancing, etc... all done on site. They have great assistants at this school and my daughter laways says that she had a great time at school, everytime we ask her how her day was. my child seems to be progressing very nicely in regards to what she has learned over the past year. The Head Sister, always gives feedback when asked regarding any issues that may be at hand and is always willing to work with the parents should any issues arise. My wife and I couldn't be happier with everything regarding this school from the Education aspect to cleanliness to the care we are receiving for our children.
The prinicpal is very rude. There is no feedback given from teachers to parents. no review for kids. They do not bother if kids are eating properly. No proper guidance. The prinicipal shows partiality towards kids. She is more towards the italian families . It is always about money for the principal. Prinicpal has to change the way she treats kids. she should be more sensitive towards kids. She does not know how to treat kids. They don't even offer snack time for kids.
We have sent our child to this school and were extremely disappointed. 1) School Director controls all sisters and avoid them from taking with parents. 2) School Director is always behind money rather than teaching. 3) Cannot understand their English. I am not sure how kids can understand and learn. 4) They leave the kids in hot sun and they sit in shade. 5) The closing time of school is 5:30 PM. After 5:00 PM, I found so many times school Director asking kids so many times about their parents..when will they come kid of questions. How does a kid know where their parents are. 6) They leave kids most of the times before TV?. I am not sure when will they teach. 7) Constructing was made during school hours, so much of dust and sound pollution, still they take children out to play area. 8) They say something and do something. Change words. There are so many points to list. But over all we are not happy with School director.
my daughter's first school experienced has been so positive due to the nurturing and structured school environment. She is 3 and now asks me is it time to go to school even on weekends. This is how I know it is a nurturing place she has been at home for her first 3 years of life. I also like the fact that the school enhances school pride by having their students wear uniforms. I am an educator and I feel that my child will be nurtured not only spriritually, emotionally but educationally too.
My child attends this school and the sisters take care of the children as if they were their own.
