Village Green Nursery School is the place to send your preschooler. I have sent my children to two other preschools in town and this one is by far the best! The staff is wonderful and they are always open to parent participation. By the time your child "graduates" from this program they are more than ready to start Kindergarten!
I can't say enough about this wonderful preschool. All 3 of my children have attended VGNS. My youngest is graduating this year and my oldest is in 4th grade. The teachers are all very nurturing and caring and are very attentive to the individual needs of each child. My children were always very happy to go to school to "play", as they would say it. Little did they know they were learning too. I attribute this to great teaching and even greater lesson planning. My older 2 children began Kindergarten very well prepared and extremely well adjusted. I am very confident that my 3rd one will prove the same. I highly recommend this preschool.
Village Green offers a clean, safe, caring environment that lovingly teaches all children and adequately prepares them for kindergarten. My three children all attended VGNS and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the program and the teachers. The school has an "open door" policy for parent (and grandparent or caregiver) involvement - a "must have" for me. I was able to volunteer my time as often as I wanted. The VGNS classroom is a child's dream - bursting with colors and adorned with cabinetry and benches from a KidCity Museum employee. My kids loved the "lending library" where they were able to check out books, visits to their "grandfriends" at the elderly housing complex nearby, Dessert for Dads, Bedtime Storytime, pajama day with pancakes, Mother's Day Tea and so much more. My oldest is in 5th grade and still has fond memories of the school. The "graduation" from the 4 year old program is a wonderful memorable ceremony that will pull at your heatstrings. When your youngest has left the school, you'll wish you had more children to send to the school so you could continue the experience!
Village Green Nursery school is a great place to begin your child in a "school". Their program helps children become themselfs away from there parents and for them to enter your towns school system. It is a very warm enviroment with very caring teachers there. Why I rated as I did.
A caring, loving environment, just perfect for your child's first school experience! My nephew's both have attended this school and love it! I highly recommend it!
Village Green Nursery School was the vision of a wonderful woman and educator whose goal was to provide a caring, nurturing environment where preschoolers could develop a love of learning that would carry them throughout their academic journey. The experienced staff share that vision and truly care about each and every child. Both of my children attended this preschool and I've never regretted the choice I made in sending them to VGNS. The classroom is clean and colorful and encourages children to use their imagination and pursue what interests them. Parental involvement is encouraged and appreciated and there are many opportunites for family activities. I have always recommended the VGNS program and will continue to do so.
