Shelton Kindercare

Never send your children to Kindercare in Shelton. Bad experience. In the summer of 2010 I enrolled by daughter there in the infant program. Everyday I would come in and there would be too many babies and only one provider. I tried to put this aside and continue there because there was no where else to put her. The teachers were not responsible and let the babies scream. The Director at the time did this to cut corners in the morning. Then they had toddlers mixed in witht he infants. My baby got scratched in the face twice they were deep scratches that took a few weeks to heal. She was also bitten in their care. When I confronted them the assistant laughed stating a toddler fell back. So how was my baby scratched twice in one week. I am not even sure it is legal to mix toddlers in with infants that cant defend themselves. My baby was bitten by a toddler when she was playing with him. I would not send your baby here. My older daughter told me she hated it when she was sent there for the afterschool program. I wish I took my baby out sooner.

Don't ever send your kids to the Shelton Kindercare on Trap Falls Road. Any successful daycare needs a good director and the director at this one (Jenny) isn't strong at all. The teachers are less than impressive and unless your child is enrolled in their hooked on phonics program they don't learn anything. It's a big waiste of time and money. Too bad Shelton doesn't have many great choices when it comes to options.
