Excellent school. The Director is wonderful and the teachers have been fabulous! Our boys are excited to go to school each day and their level has far execeeded our expectations.
My daughter attended this school and has moved onto kindergarten. She is excelling in her classroom now, and we believe it has to do with her being at Bright Horizons. She was prepared both academically and emotionally. Teachers do make the difference and there are many here that have exceeded the basic requirements.
Both of my children attended this school for two years. The teacher quality was very hit or miss. The turnover was high, and there were a lot of floater teachers. Be very careful where you send your kids.
We are disappointed with Bright Horizons in Shelton. Over the past 9 months, the teacher quality seems to have declined. There are no educational activities for toddlers. Toys are too basic. Our son rarely gets engaged. Unfortunately for us, we have to start looking elsewhere.
