Children's Playhouse Day Care

I stopped into the country store next door to pick up banana's for my pre-school aged son's class project on a Monday morning. Unknowingly, I parked in a parking spot designated for this school (shared parking lot which was empty that morning). A large weird looking man approached me yelling. I honestly had been in the store for 2 minutes and was in an awful rush and had my toddler son with me. This man scared me by approaching angrily and aggressively, and he wasn't stopping, so I ran to my car and locked us inside while I strapped my son into his car seat. I would never ever ever let my son go to a place where a wild man like this did that to a mother and son. He seemed mentally ill and also seemed to represent the school - maybe a parent or something. I thought about calling the police, the school, or the store, but people like this have become the norm in this section of South Norwalk. I am not interested in this "Great School" or this website if this is the kind of place they recommend. But hey, if you are interested, I understand the store accepts food stamps!

My son attends Children's Playhouse Too and has been there since it opened in Spring 2008. He loves it. We are extremely pleased with the teachers and staff who are all extremely attentive. I love that the school is small and that each class has no more than 10 kids. The school offers a continuously engaging curriculum. My son really loves it there.

My daughter has attended this school since she was three and I love it. At the age of 4 she can write her full name, abc's and is very diversed. This is a great program to prep your child for kindergarten.
