As a parent with their third child going through Newtown Congregational Preschool I could not be happier with our choice to return year after year. The teachers are all wonderful, the classroom is clean, they are always doing fun activities and it has always felt like a family. I love that they have a co-op option where parents can help in the classroom multiple times throughout the year if they choose. Most importantly my kids love it and are learning in a fun age appropriate way.

Newtown Congregational Preschool is a wonderful, welcoming introduction to school for 3- and 4-year-olds. It's "traditional"--IN A GOOD WAY--where kids are allowed to be kids as they learn to socialize, follow instructions and gain the skills necessary to be well-prepared for kindergarten. The teachers are incredibly attentive to each child and encourage parents to visit and help out in class, if desired. As an added bonus, the teachers' aide is male, which has provided a wonderful role model for the boys (and the girls, too!). We love this school, and--most importantly--our son loves Newtown Congregational Preschool!

This is a wonderful old fashioned nursery school/preschool. It's about children learning age appropriately through play. The teachers are very loving and kind to the children and parent involvement is not necessary but welcomed. Highly recommend this fantastic introduction to school!
